Personally Lemms can have Devil May Cry, it was cool last gen but this gen its completley different. I use to love Devil May cry before I got involved in Online gaming. Now a days if a game doesnt have online gaming, I dont even bother looking twice at it. Once you go online there is no turning back. Hence why God Of War 2 might be a great game but Im not going to spend 50 bucks on a game that has no online. Virtua Fighter is a perfect example of this, Hell. Im not big on fighters to begin with, but i figured if the game had online that it might be worth checking out. But as soon as i found out it had no online that was the deal break for me.
Call me shallow or close minded, but there is just no joy or sense of acheivement playing against computer A.I anymore, after playing games such as. Halo, Motorstorm, Gears and GRAW online, there is no turning back. You get hooked. Heck, I havent even beaten the campaign for Gears yet because i just play online all the time. Same goes for fight night and Graw, I just play those games online. Story Modes are boring and last gen

Personally it was the #1 reason I wanted a PS3 besides Heavenly Sword
DMC 3 is one of my favorite games ever. It was amazing.
So yes, I'm a very happy geek tonight.
damage control ftw.xjet039
damage control ftw.xjet039Nope not damage control at all. Infact I own both consoles and i even admit that the 360 owns the PS3 and i hardly play my PS3. Im just saying that Devil May Cry coming to 360 is not a big deal becasue it wont even have online. Now it would rock if MGS came to 360 because the online would be amazing! Id love if that happened, Im just not hyped for DMC like i use to be
damage control ftw.xjet039Theres probably going to be a lot of these "I don't care DMC4 going multiplat because " types of threads, hopefully the mods will wrangle them all up in to a sticky. This is not a huge surprise really (kinda like when AC was announced multiplatform) just everyone was waiting for the official word. Now its here. Expect DMC4 to fall off the map after maybe a week the way AC did after the multiplatform announcement.
wow, nice damage controlExactly. Dude im sorry, i use to love all those franchises but ever since Gears, Halo, Fight night etc etc hit the scene with stellar online, there is no turning back man. Gears campaign is so boring compared to multiplayer
so im guessing God of War, Oblivion, Zelda, and other RPS all suck right because they dont have online

I imagine it might be kinda hard to work in a good narrative in an online deathmatch. >_>

Story Modes are boring and last genYou cannot be serious. Open-ended, interactive narrative is a huge potential factor of the video game industry. Look at games like Kotor or System Shock 2, or the recent STALKER or the upcoming Mass Effect and Bioshock. On a similar note, Warren Spector, maker of high-calibur games such as Thief, Deus Ex, and System Shock believes that better stories might help industry expansion. >_>

 My dreams have come true. Capcom saved me $600. Cause I would have spent it for this game. (A few others but this was the main one.)Damage Control!!!!!
