Resident Evil 4 did very well on the Gamecube, and that didn't stop the PS2, PC, and Wii versions.

I decided not to buy Blue dragon until it's cheaper but now it's going to the DS it might buy that instead (Depending on whether its a port or just some spin off) But I will be buying Eternal Sonata they day it comes out here (sometime next month here in Australia.)

I don't think the typical 360 owner is into JRPGs, Most of them are after more western stuff like Mass effect.

If any lems expected these games to sell at all they were living in fantasy world.

I wouldn't hold my breath for FF13 or KH3 360 owners.

So what? Capcom knew that the Gamecube version did well, but they ported it anyways.

Totally knew about both those things. Just saying that the reason to port a game or bring the franchise over to another system isn't poor sales in some cases like Resident Evil 4.

I think it is clear that most 360 fans buy the console for the same games that were on Xbox...FPS, arcade racers, and other casual titles masked as being "hardcore". Nothing else sells all that well.

People that bought Xbox 360's probably aren't interested in JRPG's. The only Japanese RPG's that I can stomach are Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. Besides that, bleh.
