Lemmings should be proud they have Banjo Kazooie

Do not forget that when Rare made those 2 Banjo games on the N64 that they were arguable the best developer around...now they are par at best.

But we will see what happens with the next Banjo game.

A lot of people say that Rareware isn't as good as they once were, but that's complete BS. Conker L&R, Kameo, PDZ, and Viva Pinata were all just as good as their previous work. I can't wait for Banjo Threeie.BioShockOwnz

That's also my point. I have also heard this, but I look at games like Banjo Kazooie, and while they are kiddy in a way, they are really fun. I think Rare excels at platformers. DK64 was also a fantastic game. I know they made Goldeneye which was awesome, but IMO, I'd rather play Banjo or DK64.

Hype this game more! ;) This could be the game that pushes me to finally get a 360.

Kameo ricked the gameplay was cool i could change into diffrent creatures to compltete diffrent task , the story was decent , the game was beatiful, i wat a sequal.

Have you played either? Kameo is an amazing game for an action/adventure. Just because you didn't like it, doesn't mean it wasn't good. Look at reviews for both PDZ and Kameo, and you'll find out you're wrong.

Rare is NOT the same, when half the team (or more) goes off when the studio was bought it means it's no longer the old rare, and this shows in their games. Grabbed by the ghoulies is just one example of rares downfall from the top. It is just another average developer nowadays.

If you want to bring up the sites, then what, thats 10 opinions? I can find 20 people that thought those games were trash, so why do you hold someone's opinion higher than others, just because they give reviews on a gaming site?

Banjo Threeie will get more attention once more footage/previews/screenshots have been released of it.

It's funny with Rare, they have the opportunity to make sequels to some very good games, and so far they're doing it for Banjo-Kazooie, but hopefully they will make more.

Banjo Kazooie was their best game as far as I'm concerned. Although, that talk of a JFG sequel gets me really thinking about how awesome a next-gen version would be. *sigh* Do it Rare... please!

Both games scored pretty good across the board. I take reviewers professional thoughts before internet posters, sorry. Just because you (1 person) didn't like them, doesn't make your opinion true. :)

But what stops any game from getting hyped because of its name. Mario Kart Wii is hyped and all we've seen is a small clip and we know it has online. I mean, you know what to expect. I don't see them making any revolutionary changes to the series besides making it longer and teh next-gen gfx.

Yes we saw a announcement trailer which featured no gameplay or anything at all. Hyping based on name is not a good idea, I'd think everyone would have realized that after Twilight Princess.

In case there is any doubt about the quality of Banjo-Threeie, the entire, original Banjo team from the N64 days are working on this game with the exception of the Stamper Brothers.

And in case you are wondering if they have lost it, there last title was Viva Pinata, which was freaking awesome.

:lol: Perfect Dark Zero was an abomination and is an insult to a once great FPS. Conker was awful as well, the game was so much better on the N64 because at least it deserved the Mature rating it got instead of the horrid blast em up that was the Xbox version which was no where near as good. Kameo was originally supposed to be a GC title, there is even a screen shot of it on the back of the original GC launch boxes, so I hope you are enjoying that port of sorts since it was originally made for another console even though it was never released. Viva Pinata is pointless, lemmings should stop blasting the sheep for having kid friendly games when they have crap like that on their console. Rare is nowhere near as good as they were before Nintendo sold them to M$.

The only members of the team that left were those that wordked on Perfect Dark and Goldeneye. They left and formed Free Radical, the devs of Timesplitters.

I think lemmings should be more proud that they have Banjo Kazooie (Threeie) on their system. I was just playing the first one and I can't believe how it is still so addictive and fun. If Rare is anything like they were, this game will be great. I rarely see any lemmings hyping this. I know we haven't seen much, but if it's anything like the first, it's definitely AAA material because the first is one of the best platformers ever, rivaling SM64, IMO.Homesrfan

I am, I realize what the 360 really is. Games like Banjo Kazooie, Mass Effect, Viva Pinata, Dead Rising, Ninja Gaiden 2, DOA4, are more imporant to me than Gears of War.kevy619

Did it ever occur to you that maybe that "professional" reviewer has completely different taste in gaming than you? And maybe that internet poster has the tastes that you do?
