[QUOTE="daveg1"]most of the dev team are gone from those days but they showed with kameo they can still do a good game like this...and yes i liked kameo!daveg1

The only members of the team that left were those that wordked on Perfect Dark and Goldeneye. They left and formed Free Radical, the devs of Timesplitters.

arguably the two best games from rare....

Yes but the BANJO team is fully intact and working on BANJO 3.

then it should be a good game:)..

It will.;) Rare is my favorite developer and it frustrates me when people don't know the true history over then "God in the N64 days" and "Down in the dumps to Microsoft."

GRR.

The only thing that sucks is that we might not get new info until E3 2008. MS canceled X07 and this year they are hellbent on focusing only on 2007. That makes me a sad fan.

I think this game is quite ignorantly overlooked by ravenous Cows...

Bu-bu where's teh variety?!

Banjo Kazooie is a great platforming franchise and is just another reason why I am a proud 360 Owner.

And No, it hasn't had 'teh red ringz'.

Driftwood111

thats because lems have been ignoring it as well. look at kameo.

Seeing as Viva Pinata is one of, if not the best game Rare has ever made, I have faith in them.

[QUOTE="BioShockOwnz"]A lot of people say that Rareware isn't as good as they once were, but that's complete BS. Conker L&R, Kameo, PDZ, and Viva Pinata were all just as good as their previous work. I can't wait for Banjo Threeie.sonicare

 PDZ and Kameo..

I can't tell if you were serious or joking.

Both of those are fairly high rated games.

But pale in comparison to rare's past efforts, like the dk country series, banjo 1/2 and GASP the masterpieces that were goldeneye and perfect dark. Give up and admit rare aren't what they used to be. Teh Talent iz gone.

Viva Pinata was an extremely overlooked masterpiece, and really didn't get the attention it deserved. It is a suprisingly adult game hiden under the kiddy look. Just like all the Rare games, it is full of innuendos and statements that only adults will really understand. horrowhip

i loled so hard when i first heard that girl say "the animals will go into there house and do a "romance dance"

I think lemmings should be more proud that they have Banjo Kazooie (Threeie) on their system. I was just playing the first one and I can't believe how it is still so addictive and fun. If Rare is anything like they were, this game will be great. I rarely see any lemmings hyping this. I know we haven't seen much, but if it's anything like the first, it's definitely AAA material because the first is one of the best platformers ever, rivaling SM64, IMO.Homesrfan

but no one has seen any info on the game for a wile

This is the one game that made me wish I had a 360. For some reason I never played banjo kazooie but I did play banjo Tooie which is one of my favourite games ever. I'm surprised it isn't hyped as much

Rare hasn't gone down hill its just hard to make original concepts successful, heck its hard to even make founded concepts successful now a days. Personally I thought Viva Pinata, PDZ and Kameo were good games, Viva Pinata was a really nice game both visually and gameplay wise, you can talk up the fanboyism all you want in this matter but a good games a good game and just cause a developer has a run of bad luck with there creations doesn't mean they can't improve.

If that didn't hold true killzone 2 would be the biggest pile of .... in industry.

perfect dark zero was horrible compared to the original, so i'm a bit worried

thankfully most of the devs that worked on banjo 1 and 2 are working on the third, so it should still be good

but RARE don't seem to be the same developer without nintendo

Rare are not the AAAA-AAA developers they used to be, they still make quality games but I just can't see Banjo Threeie getting AAA.

No.

I used to be a huge Rare fan, and it's obvious that they are not the company they once were. I mean, it's just a fact - most of the talent left!

Rare made what was probably the best FPS ever with Goldeneye.
