had one trade in...my new one works fine, now. the RROD is being researched and corrected, once and for all. Microsoft has indicated its customer service by extending the warranty to 3 years.

Extending the warranty is avoiding the problem, not fixing it. Personally if I had a 360 I wouldn't want to have to wait a month to get it back every once in a while.

then don't buy one, fanboy...they are fixing the problem: the warranty extension is an assurance in the meantime. i'm going to go play mass effect and assassins creed now. btw, when my first one broke, i waited exactly 6 days for a brand new unit.

Off the carpet, in a cool area, not in the sunlight, has room enough to breath, limited dust,and is stable are just fundamental things a USER should consider. MS can't help the fact that you jump around and knock things over, that us a user generated issue.

DMC and DMC 2 were exclusives too, DMC3 was the only one ported to PC, and DMC4 was supposed to be PS3 exclusive, so were supposed to be RE5 and GTA IV.

The PS3 is a piece of crap game wise. You lose 60 dollars because you bought a bad game? You can't buy games anymore? The pathetic thing is that cows will defend the PS3 and blame it on the person. What console had bad games? NES? SNES? N64? Gamecube? Wii? Xbox360? Genisis? Saturn? Dreamcast? V-smile? None of those. I've knocked my lamp over at least 10 times with bulbs in them, and look, their fine! And then of course there is Lair on the PS3

Wow i never thought about that before. I dont think ive ever read one report of a NES or a SNES or a N64 ever scratching a disc. That may have been because nobody was stupid enough to try and force a disc into a system that uses cartriges. I have had my 360 for about a year and i have knocked it down by accident a few times and never a single scratch.

Well my first prem died on me after 9 months of use,i swapped it for a new one the week after...not rly that bad lol

But i did lose many hrs of play on certain games,such as oblivion and saints row which did annoy me.
