Sad day. MGS4 is bieng attacked like crazy. Yet it scored a 10 here. ANd it pwns all of the 360's games. Now lemmings resort to Gamerankings when cows tried to use that Lemmings said no. Both cows and lemmings are pathetic. And MGS4 has a higer userscore on gamespot than all of the 360 exclusives. Face It. MGS4 is amazing. ANd now people will come in and say it is horrible and that is my opinion. Well 9.5 is the userscore and 10 is the review. Gamerankings is not Gamespot. This is been going on since the MGS4 review came up about 2 weeks ago so I don't know why you had to put this up now.

I think GR should be banned from discussion here in SW. It's an entity that always has one side taking advantage of and the other hating it.

Cows used it when Uncharted had its 89.xxx average,trying to say it was AAA.

Now lems are using it saying that MGS4 is inferior to a handful of other games released this gen.

Of course not in that sense. personally I never trust Gamespot to help me decide on a game purchase,but seeing as we are in the gamespot forums,we should stick to gamespots review scores to determine "floppage" or "ownage".

LOL @ ps3 owners haha but he IS right. besides just because GS gave MGS4 a 10 it doesnt make it the best game. there are many other games that have a higher precantage than MGS4 in gamerankings ( in fact there are A LOT more games better than MGS4 based on gamerankings). Gears of War, Bioshock, Halo 3, COD4, SSBB, SMG. should i name more? I'm just saying that just because MGS4 got a 10 from here, its not the best.

MGS4 has a lot of gameplay. Like I said, play it a second time, skip the cut scenes, look at the gameplay as a whole. Play in The Boss Extreme and tell me it's not a stealth game then.

And even if it was labelled as an "interactive movie," this "interactive movie" has been rated by reviewers to be better than many actual video games out there. Hell, maybe developers should lean more towards this "interactive movie" route since it is better recieved by critics than a lot of other actual games.

I played it at the highest dificulty upon first playthrough, and i sat through each cutscene i've beaten the game twice all ready inbetween bouts of oblivion play.

If gamerankings a review site agreegator isn't valid then how is a single review valid on a games quality? cant have it both ways.
