[QUOTE="Water_Sage"][QUOTE="JimmyT2"]The most obvious reason would be to play the games that aren't on PC like Dead Rising, DOA 4, PGR 3, Lost Odyssey, Forza 2, Kameo, Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, Viva Pinata, Banjo Kazooie, Saints Row, Ninja Gaiden 2, Cry On ect.JimmyT2
The thing is, none of those games are particularly good or original, I can play similarand better games on other systems.
Good is a very subjective word and some of those games have not even been released. Many of the ones that have were well received by critics. If you don't like them that's fine and you shouldn't feel the need to justify your gaming tastes with threads such as these. However you should realise that for people with different gaming tastes to yours the 360 is well worth it regardless of what other platforms someone owns.
I do understand that there are people with different tastes, what I don't understand is why would u get an Xbox if u can play it's best games on a PC which is far superior.
So far thereasons seem to be that people don't know that PC games don't HAVE to be played with a keyboard and a mouse, not wanting to wait, and people think they have to upgrade every time a new PC game comes out
[QUOTE="NobuoMusicMaker"]Why get both? 360 = PC, get all your games for the best machine. The PC.Blackout-------
No.

You seem to get the idea of this whole threat pretty well.

The 360 and PC have different games. As I said in my original post. You would be hard pressed to find a JRPG or fighting game on the PC but on the 360 they are abundant. Many people also prefer to play sports and racing games on consoles. Then there are some who prefer to play any type of game on consoles.

You dont seem to get it at all. Ports are not the same as game being built from the ground up. Except bioshock. A rare exception.
i dont want to be streessed like a madman updating and fixing driver issues and incompabilities
plus wasting my money UPGRADING CPU, gpu, motherboards, RAM every YEAR!
meh
AvalanchaPRO
this also...i dont want to load and unload and then worry about messing up a game because a mod isnt compatible anymore

Dude with the new rules here you'll get banned or killedif u have that many quotes on a single post,
And seriously u shouldn't mention JRPG and 360 on the same sentence just yet. So far uonly have empty promises to relay on, once those "good" JRPG's on the 360 came out then we'll start talking.
I don't see why would I wanna play a racing, sport game or any type of game on an Xbox over a PC.
And if I wanted to play a fighting game I'd get a PS3 not a 360 (everyone knows that Tekken>DOA)

You guys are PC newbs. I have never had driver problems. My system updates late at night so i dont have to worry about that. My system checks for viruses at night so i dont have to worry about that either. You dont have to upgrade every year. Hey, you got anymore fallacies or misconception you'd like to add????????????????

That's fine you don't need to justify your gaming tastes to me or anyone else. However the 360 does have the most upcomming JRPGs of any current gen console. So I do think you could mention 360 and JRPGs in the same sentance, it's not as if the other current gen console have any good ones right now and the 360 at least has Blue Dragon.
A top of the line PC costs 3000+ dollars and a 1500 dollar PC won't be worth jack for games in a year or so when new graphics cards come out and the new intel 45nm processers come and will have 8 cores and even the ones 2 or 4 cores will wipe the floor with the current processers
Herms need to stop acting like PC gaming is better than having a girlfriend and realize there is more to life than wasting money on PC parts

Calm down. there is nothing wrong with using your computerr for other stuff then games. Everyone cant be a pc vet just like yourself. Most people just enjoy the comfort of playing console games so put your cape away

Hmm more fallacies and misconceptions. There are boards out right now that support 45nm processors. So you can future oriif your rig. 8 cores isnt needed at all. Thats just overkill. No game out right now even takes full advantage of 2 cores yet. Let alone a single. They had crysis running at max on a single core CPU . Just shows that we havent even scratched ths ruface of core 2 duos. The only people that need 8 core processors are people that use a lot programs at one time and do a lot of video stuff. We use PCs for more than just gaming.
