Halo 3 is amazing and haters like you cant see it.

I've never been a fan of halo, and the best proof that is' medicore is simply:
Halo 2 went from 9.4 on the xbox to a 7.0 on the PC (released less than a year apart). Clearly halo doesn't hold up as well as people like to think.

Halo 3 has sold more copies than any other current gen console game, it scored a 9.5 -- and you say it flopped?!?

The ONLY thing you can say it flopped at is GS Best of 2007, because it got no awards. Or i guess GOTY in general, the only place that I know of that gave it GOTY is Time Magazine. (and theyz noes count caus they is no harcorz gamr)

Hermits have been telling you this for ages but you never listened. Compared to other shooters on the market, Halo was meh. Halo 1 was the introduction to the shooter genre for many lemmings and thus they put it on a pedestal it never deserved. Now that you've had a chance to play other good games in the genre, do you finally admit Halo 3 is a flop?

It's on 90% of the overrated lists whether they be published by Gamespot, 1UP, or some message board. It's already replaced in player population on Xbox Live by COD4. Bioshock received far more GOTY awards for its crazy single-player experience. People are talking more about Battlefield: Bad Company, Gears of War 2, Haze, Killzone 2, Far Cry 2, and other highly anticipated future shooters.

Microsoft is more interested in Halo spin-offs than the actual Halo shooter experience now.

If halo 3 is a flop, COD4 is surely a flop too? Seeing as it has a shorter single player campaign, none of the extra features like file share, custom game types, forge and saved films, and has what is possibly the most derivative multiplayer ever made.

Halo 3 is great. Get over it.

Having to slog through the complete garbage COD4 campaign and the dated gameplay/scenario design of Half Life 2 only made me appreciate Halo 3 more.

lol tc disappeared. halo 3 isnt as addicting for me as halo 2 due to many poorly made maps but i still play it alot especially lately. i havent touched cod4 in like a month. but i come back to halo 3. its a fun game to play.

People around here don't seem to realize that the term "flop" refers to score here in System Wars. It's even in the System Wars information thread.
