I admit nothing! I seriously finish close to all of my games. That's probably a result of me being out of a job (hey, I'm looking) right now and having too much time on my hands, but I let rarely let a game go unfinished. Okay, I haven't finished Dead Rising 2 yet, but I'm waiting for my friend to get it so we can co-op.
I used to finish every game i play in the NES/SNes/ps1 era, but those times are gone, games of today arent holding much of my interest but with the awesome 2011 lineup this might change
I'm not gonna lie, my unfinished games list is pretty big.
RDR - I reach the final duel, but didn't played it.
Red Faction - I don't know what was i thinking when i bought it.
King's Bounty 2 - Most of my PC gaming was taked by StarCraft 2 and recently by Recettear.
Eternal Sonata and Valkyria Chronicles - I finished the games, but i started a second playthrough and havent finish them.
Among others.
I tend to finish all the games that I play and that are good. On the other hand I tend to only play games once, except for a few. Not much time to play all the great games that are out there. I usually end up playing old games I missed. The point in the end is being entertained.
Never finished Call of Juarez:BiB, as it seems you never come up for air, the flood of NPCs never stops.
DMC 4 - beautiful game, great fighting - but the platforming sucks...makes me feel like I'm playing Donkey Kong or Mario.
Now that I have a limited budget, I'm able to go back and finish games I wanted to finish but got distracted from. Though, there are still some games I never want to finish (i.e. Far Cry 2).
I finish most of mine and I too have a lot of time constraints--I have like 2 hours in the past two weeks on steam right now. I know some people like that too, but if I'm going to put money in a video game I might as well damn play it and eventually finish it. I know lots of people who buy hundreds of games, mostly because of Steam sales who have more playing time than I do and hardly finish any of them. To be frank I really don't get it, but to each their own.
My problem is that I have too many games... I couldnt possibly finish them all and still be a good father & husband. But the games that deserve it, get finished... multiple times, in many cases. I'd rather play a good game multiple times, than play through something I just don't like just to say "I finished it".
Of all the games I have purchased in the last 2 or 3 years the only two that I havent finished are Valkyria Chronicles and Undead Nightmare.
VC because I stopped at a horrible forrest sneaking mission and Undead Nightmare because I accidentally deleted my save file when I reformatted my PS3.
This past couple years, it is true. I have a stack of games I haven't finished. But this is becuase I have a toddler at home and my games are either inappropriate or I simply don't have the free time I used too.
Before having kids, I actually did finish every game I bought or rented.
I finish most my games though sometimes it takes me a long time becouse I play a ton of games at the same time. Still sometimes there are games which I dont remember if I passed. Oblivion is one of them. The game has been installed and unistalled so many times I lost count. The problem with it atleast for me was that if I did not play it for a week or two I competely forgot what I was supposed to do and getting back into the game was really hard.
I do finish my games, but I don't ever shoot for 100% completion with unlocks, hidden items, and that kind of stuff.
I would like to get to a point where I could enjoy playing a game over and over till I found everything myself without a guide, but usually I don't want to play through a lot of single player games a second time unless they're really really good.
depends on what you mean by finish. If you mean get the credits rolling, I do that for around 95% of my games. If you mean finish all the content, then some of them are impossible for me to finish. For instance, many of the shmups I play have true final bosses that are insanely difficult to unlock, and if you do some how unlock them, they're insanely hard to kill. example: the boss found after hibachi that I still haven't been able to unlock, and there's another boss after this one that people still don't know how to unlock too.
I'll probably never fully complete the game, but I can beat all 5 standard levels.
as for traditional games, there's a few that I put down right after playing. 2 of them would be white knight chronicles and cross edge. I never plan on getting far into those games, however, I've beaten most of my back log.
I finished quite a few... but I have so many games to play that I don't have time to finish them all. I have 439 games on Steam alone.
But many I haven't finished is because I grew tired of them. For instance GTA IV and EPLC, Assassin's Creed 2, Bioshock 2, RDR, Far Cry 2... they just become boring.

That's just overkill man. Whats the point of buying if your not gonna play them?

I feel bad for having around 115 games on Steam :P
