Let's say Battlefield 3 get's consolized, what then?

I know I know Dice says that PC is there main focus. Didn't Crytek say the same with Crysis 2? Anyways let's just be open minded here because in this day in age of gaming it is very possible for this highly anticipated once PC exclusive franchise could be dumb down(what PC gamers call it) for consoles. I mean think about it, Dice is a developer who's sole purpose in the industry is to make money first and innovate later. You can't release a multiplatform fps around the same time a COD game comes out and expect to take away it's shine. I remember the first COD being praised to high heavens when it came out on PC and what did IW do? They put it on console and made hella $, more of which to compensate for the high cost in making and marketing it's game. What makes you think Dice won't follow suit with it's beloved Battlefield franchise? What makes you think EA(publisher out here doing the same as Activision) won't make them follow suit?

Never seen a game NOT be good just because its made for all platforms. I think you PCelites get a little hyper over everything. How long have consoles been on the market? People act like all this is new..I dont get it? Should consoles be so far under powered that they CANT run any of these precious games at all that way there is no way for us to get them?? Would that help? I say, dont sweat the small things, and everyone enjoy the hobby that we've enjoyed for 30 years..DUH...WINNING!

Crytek never said that the PC was the main focus in Crysis 2, they basically continually implied the exact opposite. And DICE isn't making BF3 exclusive, there are still console version, they are just focusing on PC, and can have the consoles as their quick money grab that everyone seems to think is all Developers care about.

No I just want to know what PC enthusiast would think if it were consolized. I can except the fact that it won't be, hell I might try and run it on my 8600GTm gpu laptop if it is a graphical benchmark like the first Crysis(which ran on medium on my laptop ;) ) was.

Depends on what consoliation is, i wouldnt want the game to be like bf2, because that game is so bad, if for its time. I would just play it for what its worth, and enjoy hermit tears.

2 Consolers would claim that Consoles are helping gaming when fact they keep on stagnating the market. And and keep on forgeting Pc gaming is almost 2x larger the console gaming....

Thats it in a nutshell, and I think devs are waking up to the fact that PC gamers only buy GOOD games. Console gamers will buy anything with good production value.

Well you will be able to go prone in BF3, so its hasn't been consolized yet
