If you're in an environment where 15 seconds of loadtime will prevent you from playing, frankly, whipping out a handheld and playing it isn't worth the time.

it's obviously not going to prevent you from playing it but it (along with many other issues) will inconvenience you and it makes the system less suitable for playing in short bursts

If anything, the DS is worse what with the fiddly stylus for short burst period plays on the move :|

Which is why the touch screen controls are the standard for PDA's and many MP3 players and millions of non-gamers worldwide have been enticed into picking up a portable videogames machine

People have been saying this for a while yet nothing has happened. The PSP is fairly successful, sure it has lost to the DS but it did succeed in taking a large portion of handheld sales from Nintendo. Just because a system doesnt have a blockbuster hit a month doesnt mean "its a sinking ship"

I enjoy my PSP. There are so many things you can do with it.. and it has one of my most favorite games ever.
