OP votes crysis 3.

This seems like a strange comparison to me. Crysis 3 is done already and Killzone is still in development. So you're comparing Crysis at its best to an embryonic stage of Killzone. That it's even being discussed right now is a heck of an achievement for Killzone and PS4.
Word. Not to mention it's only using 1.5gig of gddr5 at the moment, I don't know if it's too late to use the new found ram amount before launch but if it does then it'll have a very healthy jump in visuals. This seems like a strange comparison to me. that KZ4 video didn't even look like realtime gameplay and crysis 3 still looks better so yeah im gonna have to say crysis 3 and when KZ4 actually does launch it probably wont even look as good as what they showed.
Gen007
lol the KZ SF demo was even played on live TV by noobs, yes it was real gameplay.
anyway KZ SF wins by far.
Well considering the fact that I was watching the trailer on a slightly blurry 720p Youtube video and I could STILL tell that it looked every bit as graphically good as Crysis 3 does maxed out on my PC in 1080... I can only imagine how much it sh*ts on Crysis 3 if I had a PS4 and was actually playing Killzone 4 on my TV in full 1080p. Then there's also the fact that Killzone 2-3 completely DESTROY Crysis in terms of character animation. So I expect KZ4 to be no different. Guerilla Games are the kings of character animation, gun models, and AI in FPS games.
Personally, Crysis 3 isn't enough of a step up over Crysis 1-2 to still be all that impressive. Crysis 1 came out in 2007... it's been 5 and a half years, I expected the new Crysis games graphics to be more of a huge step up, especially when you remember how amazing Crysis 1's graphics were at the time it came out.

You're not even coming close to maxing out Crysis 3 if you honestly believe that sh!t.

Or have you considered that maybe I just have different tastes than you? If you really want to compare, why don't you posts some native 1080p screenshots of Killzone 4 and some 1080p screens of Crysis 3 to compare and point out what's so much better in the Crysis 3 shots.KZ isn't even released, we just saw a short presentation trailer that may not even be an accurate representation of the final product. But even if it is, Crysis 3 simply looks better, has higher quality assets, and is a more impressive technical achivement overall (grass and water physics, particles, some enviromental destruction)...
That said, I do consider the KZ trailer very good looking!
Oh hermits when you post crysis 3 shots please do post your framerate and rig spec and state whether it's downsampled or not. Nothing is meaningful when you run it at 12fps up and down.gpuking
Yeah because the jaggie free 4K screenshots of Killzone SF are so much more meaningful.
Here's C3 in motion recorded on my rig: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4KNN2iDk5Q
Watch in original quality.

I'm fine by that, but anything over 25 FPS counts as a win in Crysis favor, since KZ demo ran at some 25 FPS during the most intensive shooting parts, there was a lot of noticeable stutter.

What in the world you talking about? lol KZ SF has in game slow motion ability to slow down time (yeh lame feature that wont be online). Watching a bad stream or a compressed vid on youtube doesn't show true framerate.
KZSF will be out late this year and nothing on PC can come close to it. Once people play it on a 1080p TV they will know. Specially when they play online (KZ2/KZ3 look better online than SP).
Brand new console struggeling to match a currently released game? hardly. This seems like a strange comparison to me. Crysis 3 is done already and Killzone is still in development. Totally different art styles.
The important thing is PS4 hardware should easily be able to run Crysis 3 on highest settings.

They show more detail and better effects than anything seen in the killzone trailer/demo. If you prefer the art style of killzone, whatever. That's your opinion. But technical graphics aren't a matter of opinion, and the new killzone has shown nothing better than Crysis 3.
Why do you want to compare a released game with one thats had a short demo and is 9 months from release.Come on dude, seriously.

KZ aims for 30fps average but the nature of being alpha version as well as using only 1.5g of ram would obviously create some slow downs. So when we come back for the final comparison, we're gonna have to use 30fps as average for crysis 3 assuming kz reaches that standard too.[QUOTE="Rocker6"][QUOTE="gpuking"]Oh hermits when you post crysis 3 shots please do post your framerate and rig spec and state whether it's downsampled or not. Here, we're just wasting time, the trailer is too short, and may not even be the accurate representation of the final product.
