Totally different art styles.
The important thing is PS4 hardware should easily be able to run Crysis 3 on highest settings.

I'm not so sure about that.

A GTX 680 gets almost 50 FPs at 1920x1200 maxing out the game. That's with an i7 CPU.
Â
I would guess the PS4 can do High at 30 FPS at 1080p or Very High at 720p 30-40 FPS.
Â
Or what msot likely will end up happening when the game is ported ot the PS4 - since consoles dont' have video settings is that they'll turn down soem fo the lighting effects a bit, and run it at 1080p 30 FPS solid, or 720p 60 FPs solid.
Agreed. According to your link Radeon HD 7870 can run it maxed out with FXAA enabled and 1600x1200 @ 35 FPS average. If devs put a bit of effort into it Im sure it will be no problem to make it run 1080p @ 30 FPS fixed with a bit of tweaking of some settings on PS4.
Doesnt that fact happen to make this thread irrelevant?
There should be no reason why the PS4 couldnt run Crysis 3 on max settings as long as it stays around 1080p and 30 to 60fps. Â
