Stopped reading there. its best to have pswii60. if you are talking about 2 consoles, than ps3 + 360 for me.

A PC isn't just a gamming machine, and many of us require good PCs to work or study so just adding a good GFX card makes it a good gamming platform also.

And if you own a capable PC, Ps3 and Wii is a better combination.

If you're into RTS games, there isn't even a choice.

Ok, ok, I guess that a PC+Wii combo can be just as good as Wii60 (for different reasons). But a PC can complement anything.

For example, I only use my PC for media + internet. I've got some 4000+ songs on here. And I have software to rip DVDs to my Zune. In that way, the PC is complementing my 360 because I can just hook up my Zune to my 360 and have all 4000+ songs play through my home theater. It's really great.

Yes I understand that it's all opinions but when everyone has their own opinion we have to set some kind of standard or quality control, which are scores... I mean sure maybe someone enjoys a 6.0 game better than a 9.0 game, his opinion isn't wrong because it's his but it's varied from the norm, in other words it's wrong when comparing it to the general opinion.

Anyways about PS3 vs. Xbox 360, besdies multi-plats (between PS3 and 360) 360 has Gears of War, Halo 3, Mass Effect, Forza 2, Ghost Recon AW, PD0 (meh), and a few other good AA titles such as Dead Rising, etc. PS3 on the other hand not including those it share with the 360 has Ninja Gaiden Sigma (port but w/e), Resistance, UT3 (momentarely), and a few other AA's. Looking at this list IMO at least I think it's pretty obvious that the 360 has better titles (AAA's>AA's) than the PS3 as ATM. Do you see what I'm trying to say?

The point that I was making was there are a few must haves out for the Ps3 right now I could list, but it doesn't mean they'll appeal to you at all. The same could be said about 360 games or Wii games etc.

Your second half, I see what you're saying. If you just want to go on scores then 360 does have the better line up, no one can argue that. For me though, those AAA games on 360 really don't interest me, aside from Gears. They just aren't my type of games. I'm getting lost in my own post, so I'll end this.

I could say that 360 sales are terrible, since it's selling less per month than both consoles so far. (360 statistics released in Feb 2008, 18M in 27 months (0.667M per month) vs PS3 statisticss released Jan 2008 in 10.5M in 15 months (0.7M per month) or Wii statistics released in December 2007, 20.13 in 13 months (1.548M per month)

Your logic seems to be based around game scores, mainly GS game scores. I hate to tell you but anybody who makes a game or console purchase based off GS scores are fools. Just because GS doesnt give PS3 AAA games doesnt mean they dont have excellent games. Many other sites have given the PS3 plenty of AAAE games.

I chose the PS3 because its quality games varied, hack and slash, fighters, stealth, shooter, etc. This variety is key for more, many of the top selling and top scoring 360 games are of similiar genres, sci fi shooters, sci fi RPGs that play like shooters, racing, sports, etc.

I am very content with my PSWii combo.

Shut up please, I have a PS3 and playing games is what i use it for... Having a Blu-ray player, multimedia functions and Free online play/service is a plus... Go play with your Wii like all small kids do and enjoy the crap that comes out on it...

Holy **** you are full of it, TC. I've had my PS3 since launch and have been playing game the entire time. The "no games" argument is FALSE and baseless.

This is why I think manticores on consoles are a joke. I have a budget, I can't go buy every console to just be "safe." I had to buy ONE console that would suit a variety of needs. No other console does that like PS3.

You want hardcore games, you got 'em.
You want casual games, you got 'em.
You want some motion sensing for casuals, you got it.
You want a true HD gaming experience, you got it.
You want blu-ray HD movies, you got em.
You want the option of going wired or wireless out of the box, you got it.
You want standard HDD so that games aren't hindered, you got it.
You want devs to have the freedom to create as big of a game as they want on PSN, you got it.
You want reliability, you got it.

Let me guess, the 360 or Wii fan response will be, "But teh gamez on teh PS3 sux." Right. Wi having two titles SMG and SSBB (neither would satisfy my gaming thirst on their own) doesn't excite me. 360 having a PS2-ish library doesn't excite me. The only non-PS3 games I care about are Gears and Bioshock. But I would be a fool to buy a console for two titles.

My experiences with the 360 and PS3 are limited since I don't have either yet (just a wii) and only play my friends/family console until I make up my mind.

But I am inclined to disagree. I don't think any real gamer can look at the PS3's lineup right now and say it's bad because GS hasn't given it any AAA scores. That is how posers talk...not real gamers. I've played Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, Ratchet and Clank to the end and they are incredible games. In fact, I loved the hell out of Uncharted and HEavenly sword and think they are some of the best gaming experiences I've had in months. Both were incredible cinematic games that sucked me in and had me addicted until I beat the games. Ratchet and Clank was the same idea as the others, only better looking.

And that doesn't even include the quality multiplat titles that are out now and on the horizon.

That's not to say the 360 doesn't also have quality games. I am just less interested in the exclusives because they are mainly FPS and racers and a couple other games I'm not interested in. The couple I AM interested in (ie. Mass effect), I can play at a friends place.

I would also point out that, while I sure you are looking for a way to dispute the "FPS and racer" comment, keep in mind you are the one who only wants to look at AAAE titles on the PS3. Would you now act as if ALL 360 titles should be compared to such a small selection of the PS3 library?

well tis a bit off topic...but lets just say that id be happier if sony allowed devs to put there games on DVD (the PS3s drive has an 8X dvd speed i believe) and i would be really happy if sony developed a gaming disc format from the ground up. from a games perspective, that blu-ray drive is an absolute disaster. the PS3 now suffers from some narly loading times and mandetory installs (a first on consoles i believe)...all for the sake of HD movies and getting an unfair advantage in an unrelated war.

its a disgrace and a real F-U to gamers imho.
