Let's take a step back here and see the big picture....

First off I'm far from rich I just spread out buying them, for the record my PS3 purchase is coming between now and June. And while owning all consoles doesn't automatically mean you can't be a fanboy (nor does owning just one console automatically mean you are one) you have actual experience with ALL consoles therefore when it comes to actual gameplay experience you are more informed. For instance a fanboy will trash a game on another system or that systems library even though they've never played anything on it. I see what you're saying but how can some one have an informed opinion on a game or consoles library w/o playing.

The truth: It is becoming more and more eveident that the only way to go this gen (console wise go away hermits) is naturally Wii60.

The truth: These two platforms have tons of amazing AAA games combined, and exclusive or not, are far more ctogether than that of the abysmal combo that is PSWii.

What cows want you to believe: The PS3 is selling really well and has a stellar lineup coming to it this year.

The truth: It doesn't look like it's getting better any time soon. The flagship games, MGS4 and GT5, are not AAA franchises. There is no guarantee that they will review well. This is true. We all know this.

More truth: When Playstation 3 sells better than Xbox 360, cows should be ashamed. It shows the blind fanboy-ness of the PS3' entiure userbase. Answer me this: Why buy a console that's only function right now is to play movies? There is no reasonable answer. There is no legitimate reason to own a Playstation 3 and call it a gaming system. You all know this to be true.

Now hopefully I've brought some cows back down to earth here. They seem to be thinking that they've won the war and are back on top again. That is actually far from the truth. The big picture is still that of 2007, where 360 and Wii are getting stronger and stronger libraries, while the PS3 sits there. Stagnant. It is as of now, a dead machine.

Humm....Let's see! So all those days & nights we played games on my PS3 with my friends where just illusions???

I didn't know that the PS3's only function is to play movies...such a suprise...I tought it can play games, browse the net, play music and other videos. View your photos.

Maybe I'm just imagineing these things than. I don't know what I'm smokeing!! But hey, thanks for telling me what my console can and can't do!! Now that I know I will only watch movies on it.

Does Devil May Cry 4, Burnout Paradise, Call of Duty 4 sais anything to you??? to me all it sais is they are better on the PS3 (stated by the developers themselves and also many critics)

Also don't forget that 90% of the games that you gonna get on your precious 360 will also be on the PS3. Oh and if it doesn't come to the PS3 than it'll come to the PC with WAY better graphics....and yeah I own a gaming PC that plays Crysis...on MAX!! (cost me $1500 but needed the upgrade...had a really old PC)

So what's the reason of owning a 360 when you have a PS3 and a gaming PC?? No reason to own it! Maybe NG2 but that's not enough!

Fun fact: ME will come to the PC with way more stuff and much better garphics...seems to me that you lemmings where beta testers of the game :lol:

The PS3 does sell better worldwide than the 360. It's not PS3 fans makeing up stuff...it's fact. Truth hurts huh?

Just because you love your 360 you don't have to come in here and make up outrageus stuff to proove something that you feel is right. Just because you think you are right it doesn't mean that you really are!

Belive me that every person who got the PS3 knew what they where getting and they are happy with it. Otherwise they wouldn't have gotten it. And I don't wanna hear that BS made up story that you got one and it's just sitting there and you don't even touch it!! It's $500 and you don't even touch it?? :D People can make up crazy stories. Everyone knew what it has, what games will it have and so on.

Also if you like it or not MGS4 is a big game for the PS3 along with GT5 and Tekken 6 and if the rumors are true than SF4 will be PS3 exclusive as well. (but I doubt it since it's Capcom)

But let me ask you this. Do you feel better now that you wrote all the BS down??? Will you sleep better tonight?? Are you gonna gain any money out of this? Does Microsoft pay you to do this???

Now that I brought you down to earth here I hope you will think differently and won't be a fanboy anymore!

It's one thing to state your opinion, it's another to go and name your opinions as "truth" and "fact". :roll:

well tis a bit off topic...but lets just say that id be happier if sony allowed devs to put there games on DVD (the PS3s drive has an 8X dvd speed i believe) and i would be really happy if sony developed a gaming disc format from the ground up. from a games perspective, that blu-ray drive is an absolute disaster. the PS3 now suffers from some narly loading times and mandetory installs (a first on consoles i believe)...all for the sake of HD movies and getting an unfair advantage in an unrelated war.

its a disgrace and a real F-U to gamers imho.

ah okay. the mandatory installs don't bother me because they usually are pretty quick for me. the loading times seem normal. i mean you can kinda look at it differently by seeing that the blu-ray also offers more room if any dev decidees to make a game that takes up a lot of room

I've been gaming for 30 years...give or take...and I've never owned all the consoles in a generation. Doesn't mean I don't know what those consoles can do, what they offer, the games they have, what the company is doing, etc. Just like how somebody can buy all consoles and have no clue about any of those things.

I would also point out that playing other consoles doesn't mean you have to BUY them. I've played practically every console ever made during their respective generation. I rented or borrowed from friends/family or knew people who had the system and played it at their place.
