I.E. a very average game unremarkable by its own merits, with its magor selling point being the fake industry love it gets due to paid off review scores/gaming press shoving the game down our throats.

Guarantee it will sweep up every GOTY award, and the people hyping the game wont be able to tell you a single thing about it that it does that other games dont do better, outside of the massive list of GOTYs Lems will spam. They'll be pllastered all over the box as well.

Its Uncharted 2 all over again (which, lettuce be real tea here, prior to the second game, was an unremarkable franchise that was once in the same conversation as Resistance and Motorstorm. Cows didn't give a shit about uncharted until Uncharted 2 and the GOTYs came out, and even then, only because Sony needed to trojan horse Nathan Drake into Playstation's new mascot after losing Metal Gear and Final Fantasy exclusivity)

TitanFall isn't the same game

Also hooray. Uncharted 2 was fun game(hype/reviewscores/all that jazz be damned), and I have no real reason to think Titanfall doesn't look fun. Remarkable? excellent? Ground breaking? no. Fun? you're god damn right it looks fun.

Uncharted bring back treasure hunting/action-adventure days and cinematic setpieces without the use of QTE. Wasnt because of it and the amazing new TR would never been made. TR games were becoming stale and the new one inspired highly on Uncharted (more than Uncharted inspired on old TR). Since TR > CoD, Uncharted > Titanfail

Uncharted already proved upon itself much to butthurt of its haters, lets see how Titanfall dwells before calling it revolutionary

**** and No. Uncharted is a great series, I'll give you that but the gameplay is pretty average. Uncharted is the sum of all of it's parts, but some of those parts need work.

Pretty much this. The only thing the two games have in common is that they will both be universally well received but hated on in system wars.

It could make far more of an impact than Uncharted if it really does become the new COD. If it does reignite the COD4 level of hype and interest into a new franchise for a new generation, then that will be huge.

Uncharted was well done and a great game, but the only thing it really impacted was Tomb Raider.

As much as people here would like to deny it, Uncharted 2 set the tone for the direction of the second half of the generation the same way Gears set the tone for the first half.

Uncharted 2 told a story and gave people a ride in a way that has NEVER been seen before. Characters and gameplay that came together fluidly. It's nice to see herms/lems still aren't over it 4 years later. Cry more.

Don't compare Uncharted 2 to that stupid cod on steroids that Lemmings are only hyping because it's not on PS4. TitanFall will sell like crazy and probably score well here on Microspot. But it'll sell more because games like this are what keeps XBL alive and are the only things lemmings play.

It wont be anywhere close to as popular as Uncharted, from a critical standpoint. It also will not be nearly as popular as recent bro games have been. It'll be a hit with a majority of lemmings and a few hermits at best.

I realize I can be wrong.. maybe... probably not, but maybe.. My prediction stands that the hype for this game is WAY over what it should... I expect between a 7 and 8 score... no better. If it does better than that, that is fantastic, but something tells me this is going to get ugly... lol

This is completely and utterly untrue. The other major studios in this industry, ie Nintendo, Bungie, Blizzard, Rockstar, Irrational, Epic, Ubisoft Montreal, BioWare, etc all continued to do things the way they'd always done post-Uncharted 2.

Gears fundamentally changed the way people make third person shooters. The influence here is not comparable.

Uncharted 2 is a good game. That's all. It's not a pinnacle, it's not a defining moment. It's an above average title buoyed by what were amazing production values at its time of release.

It will not stand the test of time. In fact, Naughty Dog pretty much made it irrelevant with The Last of Us.

"Cows didn't care about Uncharted until Uncharted 2" Yeah that's because Uncharted was a fairly unremarkable game, it had some decent visuals, that was about it, everything else was merely decent. Uncharted 2 was incredibly and thus, people got excited for the series, I don't see how that is hard to understand at all.

The thing is, there are lots of people who have consoles ONLY to play COD. If this game ends up becoming the next COD it will be a selling point for the Xbox brand. Even if cows don't like the way it looks it will likely sell regardless of their opinions. Then when TitanFall 2 comes out on x1 and ps4, they will praise it as a god game and thank sony for breaking exclusivity, which they wouldn't have had anything to do with. That's their nature.
