Lettuce be reality, TitanFall will be the next Uncharted.

TitanFall, for the X1, can never be in the same exact boat as Uncharted was, Uncharted was an exclusive.

Gone Home being GOTY is ridiculous, are critics just hipsters that forgot what a game is?

DoTA 2 or Path of Exile were by far the best PC games of the year... it doesn't take a genius that realises these critics are a load of w*nk to figure that out.

Are you joking? Have you seen some of the newest gameplay videos / trailers / teasers for Titanfall? It looks awful. The graphics are terrible and the gameplay is going to suffer from them making it a human AND mech shooter. They should've stuck to either JUST a human FPS or JUST a mech FPS. Now they're going to have to try to make the maps with both humans in mind and the Titans in mind as well, and I have a feeling that when you're a human the maps are going to feel too big and it's going to be boring... a lot of running around and not finding anyone. And when you're a Titan the maps are going to feel too small and it's going to ruin the experience.

There's also the fact that it's cheesy that everyone gets a Titan without having to do anything to earn it. At least in a game like COD you have to earn your big badass killing machines. But the fact that everyone in Titanfall gets a mech is going to 1) make it less satisfying when you're in one, 2) make it lame when you're a human and some awful player who has done nothing positive for his team comes by in a mech and completely destroys you.

Am I the only one who, with the new gameplay/info released about it, doesn't see what all of the hype is about this game anymore? It looks/sounds pretty awful tbh.

@Solid_Max13: thats a lie. they only updated the graphics and added fighting to it. it still felt like drake was on roller skates and the story wasnt near as good or funny as the first. i didnt even play uncharted 3 because of how bad 2 was

so some hipster sites labeled a 3 hour game GOTY over 2 of the biggest MP games on PC at the moment... big whoop.

doesn't change the fact that at peak 600k people play DOTA 2 and its AAAE ... 100k+ people play Path of Exile and it too is AAAE.

It'll be a good game - Xbox Fans will rally to it because thats what their platform manufacturer is doing, and they will respond accordingly. I don't really know what the point of this thread is though, other than to say Uncharted as a franchise was overhyped until Uncharted 2 - which is a roundabout way of saying Uncharted didn't matter until it became a franchise (you can't have a franchise with only 1 entry btw... >.>)

Personally, I think it'll do well but it won't break the mold nor will it be this game that moves consoles to anyone who wasn't planning on grabbing a bone anyway. In fact, it'll be even less effective at moving Xbones simply because of the platforms it is available on. Nevertheless, it'll be a good game that some people will love and gravitate towards. COD levels? Definitely not; it just doesn't have the breadth of content to compete with such an incredible value proposition CoD delivers yearly (despite how many hardcore gamers feel about CoD, it still gives you some of the biggest quantity of highly polished content for $60 out there.), not to mention the various playstyles and types of gamers CoD caters to.

Titanfall isn't even out and it's already overrated. I don't understand how every website/magazine etc are in complete love with this game. Does not one of these journalists have a negative opinion? This just screams like Microsoft paid everyone off because they know Sony is going to kick their *** this gen and they need a timed exclusive to help them even it out.

I can just envision this game getting perfect scores everywhere even though half the people that play it will hate it or think it's average at best.
