I can't believe you people actually think the last in the biggest series in Bungies history and the biggest title in MSs lineup is going to look anything but fantastic.

You're just setting yourselves up for a hard fall.

They arent releasing anything outside of alpha till the beta basicly.  Even the next Video doc is gonna still have Alpha builds used for the footage (the vid doc should be out in a few weeks probably).  So basicly if you wanna see how the graphics are coming along you'll have to wait till the Beta.

Well they have showed us some good looking images like this one. If you actually break it down the visuals actually look really good. You got the lighting from the grenade, the high res textures, foot placement's shown relaisticly as you step on a ledge or slant.

All that from the Pre-Alpha build, so overall it should look pretty good when done.

i know what pre alpha is. im just wondering why they keep showing us pics of the game, but doesnt look pretty. i mean after 2 and half years in dev time , you would thnk by now they would have some pretty decent pics. i mean if Epic can do it with Gears of war, you would thikn Bungie can also. now will i be buying HAlo 3 still , the answer is yes, but i am dissapointed with bungie only showing off ugly pics when there should be no excuse for them to.alfy13

All I'm seeing is Halo 1 - MasterChief, Halo 2 - MAsterchief abit shinier, Halo 3 Master Chief next gen battlesuit glossing.

to the  people wondering why hasnt bungie shown any real gameplay shots of halo3 yet... if you were bungie/microsoft..would you release close to complete screenshots of halo3 just out of nowhere?..or would you release them at a major event such as E32007 and X7?
