[QUOTE="firefluff3"][QUOTE="Ravensmash"] Why does everyone think it's going multiplat? Shadow Complex didn't. Ravensmash
Castle crashers is.
And theres no reason why it wouldn't, its not like they want to keep the IP to make a sequel
http://www.joystiq.com/2010/05/28/playdead-limbo-not-coming-to-ps3-or-pc/ I don't think this is coming to PS3 but really? You don't think we've learned over and over them saying it won't come doesn't mean much?I have no idea, but for a game that got very limited public exposure and an arcade release - I'm sure it's good imo. And it's only been out for a short while, so Playdead have got to be pleased with the sales of their first game.is that good for a DL only game?

Weve had a perfect example this week with ME 2. But thena gain, I think everyone knew that would happen eventualy. Its just weird they didnt do that at E3. Anyway, imagine the **** storm if Left 4 Dead came to PS3 tonight on GTTV. Like I said, it goes beyond jsut those 2 games coming to PS3, it means its pretty much guranteed taht Left 4 Dead 3 will hit PS3 if it ever happens. smae thing with ME 2. this pretty much gurantees PS3 version of the third game with 360 version day and date.

Whilst it's fair to use those I guess, as far as we know right now - the developers have said, it is not coming out for anything else.Castle crashers is.

Creepy indie platformer Limbo is one of the surprise hits of 2010, not just with critics, but with the game-buying public, too.
Developers Playdead have told Gamasutra that the game has sold over 300,000 copies since it was released last month. For a game about a creepy little kid dying a million times in a world of black and white, those are good numbers. Actually, no. Those are great numbers.
I just hope most people got the game. For five minutes, I was frustrated and horrified. For the remainder, it was one of the smartest, and more importantly funniest games I've played all year.I can't think of a game that deserves selling like crazy more than Limbo, to be honest.

yes a very short game deserves to sell like crazy only to encourage other developers more to make their games even shorter then they already are these days.
it's only 15 dollars bro, relax it has enough quality content to warrant a purchase, it's like 4 hours or so.That's a great number for an indie downloadable game but I personally think Shank will beat those sales numbers when it's finally released next week, I personally can't wait for it.

Good.
Based on the quality of the demo alone it deserved at least that many sales.
I hope it continues to sell even more copies for a while to come.
I don't think any 4 hour game is worth $15. Would it have really killed them to stretch out the game a bit?Considering games like Heavy Rain, Alan Wake, and God of War 3 are only a little more than double the length of LIMBO yet cost four times as much; ya'know, in the grand scheme of things, that's not actually bad of a price...[QUOTE="Dead-Memories"] it's only 15 dollars bro, relax it has enough quality content to warrant a purchase, it's like 4 hours or so.

I think 'stretching' doesn't even begin to describe your post, son. :lol:Enjoy having to buy EVERY XBLA game to cost $15. Thank those 300,000 gamers that bought them.
It's no different from the MW2 map pack really, both are an experiment to see if people are willing to pay $15 to for something that's worth less. I sincerely congratulate you all with the new $15 price point for every new released XBLA game.Locutus_Picard

so you gave into the Mw2 mappack? if so, you probably shouldn't talk.
but that's some very creative damage control there. I guess that's what it comes to when a non-shooter has such great success on the Xbox 360, of all things:roll:
It's not like the game was a full cost retail game. its 15 dollars and you can finish it in 4 hours or less[QUOTE="loadedboon"]

Would it have really killed them to stretch out the game a bit? is length that much of a factor? gow 3 is 8 hours and it's 4 times as much[QUOTE="Dead-Memories"] it's only 15 dollars bro, relax it has enough quality content to warrant a purchase, it's like 4 hours or so.

As a Sony fan I am choked this game is exclusive to 360. I really hope it shows up on PS3, or even PC/Mac so I can play it. Looks like an awesome game and I'm glad it did well.
It probably won't happen, Microsoft published this game.[QUOTE="GeoffZak"]I didn't know it came to the PS3...Limbo was a "meh" game. I didn't have too much fun with it, it was all about trial and error. Most people are tricked into liking the game by critics.

Isn't it obvious? Do I really have to spell it out for you? I own a 360 as well now. I played the full version on my friends 360 though because I didn't want to waste the money.

I don't even have MW2...so there is no way I could have the map pack. My PS3 gamer profile does have MW2 in it because I popped the game in my machine when a few friends came over with MW2.I didn't know it came to the PS3...[QUOTE="Verge_6"][QUOTE="GeoffZak"]
