[QUOTE="finalfantasy94"][QUOTE="DarkLink77"] Says the guy with the Uncharted avatar. No bias there!DarkLink77
Yea but calling someone talentless hacks cause you dont like the game seems a bit much. I mean I dont call nintendo talentless hacks cause I dont like mario galaxy.
I don't call them talentless hacks because I don't like Uncharted. I call them talentless hacks because they created and incredibly generic franchise that gets praise for blatantly stealing from film.Uncharted 3 is well designed and calling it generic is like implying there are many game out there like it. Sure it steals a lot of ideas, but almost everything is a stolen idea in some shape or form. It just depends on how common it is. IDK about you, but I can't think of any Indiana Jones-esque movie released even within the last 10 years, let alone game. Sure Uncharted 3 is glitchy and not paced that well, but the gameplay is solid and fun, especially when compared to previous Uncharted games. I can't think of any game that blends shooting, stealth, melee, puzzles or platforming in the same way that Uncharted 3 does. In fact, the puzzles in U3 actually felt quite original (they weren't, but they felt fresh) and were a huge improvement over past games. A game sometimes doesn't need a new idea, but just needs to blend everything well in a way that feels different. I'm not saying Uncharted is necessarily fresh, how many games now-a-days are? I'm just saying it's not generic. Far from it in fact.
