I'll start. These games have pretty much zero chance of flopping:
- Resident Evil 5
- Gran Turismo 5
- Uncharted 2
- Killzone 2
- Heavy Rain
- God of War 3
- MAG

There is none. No game has a 100% not to flop.
And the fact that you putMAG  and GT5 considering only one GT has ever got a AAA here.
rybe1025
especially on gamespot lol
i garuntee atleast 2 of those games get below a 9 and flop
I see you have neglected to mention any 360 or PC games. I also see that you have included some wonderful reasons for the lack of floppage.I'll start. These games have pretty much zero chance of flopping:

I like how half of those games (Uncharted, Heavey Rain, Killzone 2, and Mag) have a good possibility of getting AA or lower. :P
Remember how people felt there was no way Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess could flop, and then Ninja Gaiden 2. No game is untouchable.

None-the-less, my second point still stands.
However, it's been said before-there is no game that has a zero percent or "pretty much zero chance" of flopping. None.

Clarification for me: What is considered a "flop" by forum standards here?
I have seen some people in other threads call a game a "flop" because it was expected to be a 10 but only got 9 and a half thus falling below expectations if only a small bit. Am I the only one who finds that to be retarded logic?
Go easy on me, I am new to these forums and not familiar with the grading scales you use.
That's what a "flop" is here-if it doesn't meet the hype given to it, it's a flop. Otherwise, it's not.Clarification for me: What is considered a "flop" by forum standards here?

Bzzzt! Wrong answer!
Lets do our homework here.
GT 3 got a 94% on gamespot so it would be a 95% now and GT 4 got an 89% which would be a 90% now. So the last two have both gotten AAA.
The only reason proglogue didn't is because it's not a full game, and thus doesn't really count.
You really think Diablo III and Starcraft II, two of the biggest games of the decade, have less chance of doing well than a PS3-exclusive interactive movie?

We don't convert older scores to the new scoring system-reviews were done differently, so they aren't comparable :?Bzzzt! Wrong answer!Lets do our homework here.

Then you can't compare old games reviewed under the old way to new games. Period. Thus the standards for AAA, AA and other games was different back then.
You can't have it both ways. You can't compare an 8.5 then to an 8.5 now even though you people do it all the time because, as you said, it was the "old" system.
Lets be consistent here on System Wars just ONCE, OK? Fair enough?

Yet you guys will complain Braid was cheaper and wasn't a full game so it shouldn't be compared to other full priced games?
Again, lets be consistent. If Braid isn't a "full" game and shouldn't be compared to full priced games, neither is Prologue.

You go by what it would be closest to in todays ratings. It's .4 from 10 and .1 from 9.5.
