Nonesense? I hink the graphical complaint is kinda justified. While the Wiis graphical capabilities are by no means bad they also arent great. A graphical update on par with atleast 360 games is quite a reasonable desire. Id say the HD resolution want is also very reasonable. Dont get how theyre funny.

Better Online

No Friend Codes (might fall under better online)

HD Graphics - Not necessarily technical graphics like 360 or PS3. I just want what is currently there to be 1080p resolution. There is a certain charm to Nintendo's art-style that I don't want to see go away.

* Better graphics: Full HD graphics as well as AA, AF and similar to Dx11 features (that counts as 1 thing)

* Better games: Stop making kiddey games and actually have games that people above the age of 10 can play (Red Steel 2, Madworld etc...)

* Better online: A service similar to PSN, Steam or Xfire.

Xfire is not an online service, it just tracks games.

1. Full HD like everybody else wants.

2. Both Wiimote-style and regular controller support for all games: native, Wii, GC, VC.

3. Full keyboard and mouse support for the web browser.

. Awesome online.

. Upgraded Wiimote + nunchuk.

Then just crank out out good games (1st and third party) and it's all good.

1. Better Hardware Better hardware gives developers the ability to pull off alot of cool things in a game. It doesn't just pertain to graphics. That siad I don't want something slightly better than the Xbox/PS3. Nintendo needs to catch up in the hardware department. They have a huge consumer base now so they dont have to worry about pulling a gamecube again. The casuals will flock to their next console because they trust them. As long as teh next console has the name Wii in it they should be fine. I have a feeling the next console will be callled the Super Wii.

2. Native Backward Compatability What i mean is being able to play Gamecube games & Wii games without emulation or very little. The CPU that would be used should be able to run Wii/GC code on top of having much more advanced capabilities. They might have to custom order the CPU, but i would pay the extra amount. This would allow the older games at 1080p or 720p.

3. Robust Online Many Wii owners know how annoying Nintendo's online is. The friendcodes are a pain & it is because of the friendcode system that Wii's online is lacking. Get rid of the friendcode system & do something like Xbox Live/PSN.

I don't see why people keep hoping for HD graphics, it's FOR SURE for their next console. Nintendo isn't dumb enough to not include HD in the next console. Reggie has already stated that the next Wii console is going to have HD, one of the main reasons they said that they weren't betting in HD this time around is because cost and they wanted to make a cheap console that accesible to the masses and create new gamers as they said it's part of their plan.

• The controller to be better, Wii Motion plus has improved on this already and they will more that likely release a wii remote next time that is updated an much improved. I mean, even if it will be another Wii remote.
• Better online with no friend codes and a central hub like 360 and PS3, not online through the games.
• Please, no useless channels. The next console should have the ability to use DVD movies and Bluray, along with a netflix channel on launch, make Mii's better if they're going to be in the next one, and a way to port over my virtual consoles games no hassle.
• Virtual console needs to include Gamecube games, and especially more 64 games.
• Improve on the photo channel, give the console an actual opening(yes I like my aesthetics) and improve the menu.
• Removable harddrive, proprietary if they're going to be sold at different sizes in stores or online, or just general HDD's like PS3. Make them huge. Or better yet give us an SSD.
• Better connection with the 3DS. DS connection and GBA connection on the last consoles were fail.
• A music channel, no crappy obscure formats from the masses, MP3 NINTENDO! Like PS3.
• Backwards compatible with old Wii games and the gamecube disc, even though that GCN should be on the Virtual console
• Work out a deal with Sega for dreamcast games to come to the Virtual console

I can see how he would jump on the next sony console. Ps1/2/3 all have been great to very good. Nintendo systems are from the n64 up have been lack luster. Sure the wii is selling but it is trash imo. Nintendo made the system too cheap as a result it has no power or multiplats. MS systems have power but have hardware issues. Sony got too cocky this time I don't think price will be a issue with the ps4.

Multi-plats, new IP's and less of Mario's and Wiisports.

A hard drive and a universal friend code is what I want the most.

Funny how so many people in this thread just say "HD graphics". Screen resolution is only one minor aspect of a games visual fidelity. HD graphics dont mean a thing if you have low poly objects, low texture resolutions, no AA, simple shaders, simple lighting systems, poor animation, poor particle systems, etc.

Anyways, I would like to see....

• Significantly better hardware. I dont expect Ninty to compete with giants like MS and Sony in that department, but at least give us something 50% more powerful than a PS3. Hell if Nintendo could just have something with PS3 specs, but at least double the ram and a much faster disc drive I would be good.
• Continue with motion controls. I know everyone is a hater, but I witnessed a few glimpses of brilliance with the Wiimote and would like to see more.
• A complete online overhaul.
• SMB4 as a launch title :D
• An amazing sequel to Yoshis Island.
• Retro back with another Prime style Metroid game. Would be great to see a game like that on some awesome hardware.

Thats all I can think of at the moment.

Since the 3DS is rumored to have a universal friend code system and have achievements along with voice chat, chances are the next Nintendo console will use them as well. So I will list other stuff

1. Improved Motion Controls along with normal controllers, Motion Controls are actually good... for some games
2. Better multiplat support
3. Launch with an official Pokemon MMO, just so people can see that the concept doesnt really work

And HD resolution on SMG would only intensify the jaggies among other visual flaws. That's my point. HD resolution is only one aspect of a much bigger picture. If you have a game with no AA, low poly objects and low res textures then a higher screen resolution will simply make it look worse. If a game is jaggie in 480p then 1080p wont clean it up at all.

This gen has been hilarious with gamers and analysts alike predicting an HD Wii. Every time I heard Pachter say it I wondered how a man like him is ever taken seriously. I know its not his job to understand the ins and outs of graphics, but he should at least keep his mouth shut about things that he does not know. Instead, now we have a bunch of gamers running around using "HD graphics" as a blanket term for good visuals.
