LISTEN!!! Enough it's a FACT Forza >>>>>> GT PERIOD!!!!!!

And this is not to say that GT5 will not be amazing and good it will I'm sure of it. But lets get these facts strait. PD has been shivering in there boots for years from Turn 10.

Listen FACT GT5 was done last summer/Fall. PD even said this and claimed they could release the game. And it was planned to be released for the holidays to go head to head with Forza 3. Ok NOW HERE IS WHAT HAPPENED. And don't take my word for it many many developers and mag sites said the same thing. Back at TGS last fall. Forza 3 was shown and played at a demo booth and same was GT5. And word in the crowd and the vibe was that everyone clearly thought Forza 3was the better game.

So all the sudden PD panicked and delayed once again. WHY because they keep getting owned and are scared to just release the game because they know they don't have the better game. It's already bad enough it has been 5 years at that point last fall for PD in development/ And Turn 10 can crank out AAA after AAA every few years.

With all this said YES when GT5 come out holiday 10 it will be a great game and might even be as good as Forza. But why you say because PD took 6 years and delayed and copied everything and try to one up anything Turn 10 has released because they clearly can not just release and win that way.

Now here is the thing. Forza 4 is already in development. We will most likely see some info at E3 this year on Forza 4. So this is what is going to happen GT5 will release holiday 10 I should say with a grain of salt who knows. But anyway. Then all Turn 10 is going to do is release Forza 4 and it will WIPE THE FLOOR with GT once again.

It's an inebitable FACT Turn 10 is the better race sim developer PERIORD. And if PD release and goes head to head with Turn 10 they will loose everytime and they know this. So WHO CARES at this point how great GT5 may be it's 6+ years of being scraed and copying and holding Turn 10's JOCk STRAP PERIOD!!!!!!

the only ones defending GT 5 to that extent are Sony crusaders, and yes, Forza 3 has set the bar, whether or not GT5 can pass it is still al speculation, Forza has been AAA status its whole life, GT has not.

I like how you include "Enough" in your title as if people are arguing over this on SW day and night. Even though I don't think it's faire to compare an unreleashed game to a AAA title, I think most people are aware of what your trying to say (with less fanboyism), that's why they don't get mentioned (much).

Anyway, there was a link somewhere from GTplanet that said that the comment about it being done last year from Yamauchi was falsely translated. The part about "we could release the game anytime we wanted to" was misinterpreted. I forgot the details but Rikusaki made a thread on it :P

You can deny it all day long, but you know, I know, and everyone else knows that you only say that because Forza is on XBOX and GT is on PS. That's why this board fails. Because people here have stopped judging games based on their actual quality, rather than the system their associated with. And in the rare cases that it isn't like that, it's about graphics. That's why games like Crysis are idolized. Even though it looks amazing, graphics can never make up for bland and derivative gameplay.

im going to laugh when im playing the game enjoying i not basing it off a review.Even if it got 7 i will prolly enjoy GT more than forza cause its a game i have loved since i was like 8 y/o i still love playing GT 1 and 2.

Forza's good and all that but to me GT just has a special place in my heart bit like you sometimes think bout your first gf or that.

I guess you can say Forza > GT is a fact because Forza is an AAA franchise while GT isn't, here on GameSpot.

Forza has the more realsitic physics and better gameplay? Man, I must've totally missed that. When I play Forza 3, it doesn't even feel realistic. (because it isn't) Not the case with Prologue. Keep thinking Forza is more realistic, though. That's not the case.

Well I guess we're going to have to agree to disagree there.

Oh, and just because something is easy, it doesn't mean it's any less realistic than anything else. In my experience, Forza 3 is easier to drive than GT5: Prologue (but still difficult) with no assists on but that's because of a superior control scheme (and controller) in my experience. Forza 3 just feels natural.

Also, just because you believe Forza isn't realistic doesn't make it so, especially when reviewers and the gaming community at large disagree with you.

I don't care what those guys have to say. Forza is not realistic. End of discussion. Can't wait to play real racing sim once GT5 arrives. Forza 3 and its lack of realism is getting old.Doolz2024
