IMHO, this game is an AAAAE GOTY quality title, and its definately a GOTY contender. It has the most content of any game to date, and its all extremely polished and has an incredible amount of variety, espicially considering you can make any type of genre you would like :P.

How complicated do you think the editor is? It's interesting that it supports Mouse and Keyboard. I'm hyping it as an AAAE, but who knows, I didn't expect SMG2 to get AAAAE

MM stated that they are trying to minimize complication of the editor as much as possible.

none of mine will, cuz they all use the 30 layer glitch

can't really expect them to support a glitch obviously, but whatever

This could really be something great, but how good this game will turn out is equal part community as it is developer

I thought the first was downright terrible.

I'll give the second a go though, if only for a change of pace.

Don't hype games AAAA, you just set yourself up for disappointment.

That being said, I am very impressed by Little Big Planet 2 and what they have shown. The ability to create nearly any other type of game is very impressive, as long as they tools are good enough.

Not sure what you mean buy "story"

I just thought despite the fact she's one of the most talentless, boring, undeserving celebreties in recent years, Cheryl Cole don't look half bad.

I know i might get flamed for this (i have a ps3) but these games you create within LBP2, overtime they might just be as simple and/or boring as flashgames. It's just addictinggames.com on a console, but you have to work to make the game.

They are as boring as you make them out to be. The official levels coming out of the company can be made using the editor.

There's quite a few levels on LBP1 that were on par with the levels created by game designers. Not to mention the community feature and better gfx/creation tool.

All the new features look superb, but the game-selling one is that it supports mouse and keyboard. Making levels in LBP1 just took way too long.

They need to get rid of the Globe and incorporate a real level list with specific search filters. I have attached a picture of the Globe just in case.

OMG I LOVE LBP!

I can't wait for the second game, I hope I get into the beta (if they have one) or closed demo (If it comes through PS+). I signed up for the water beta and even got an email a few weeks back about a beta but it turned out to be for something in the future!!AHHHH!

I will admit that it isn't a game for everyone.

I love the game, it reminds me of what got me hooked on gaming in the first place. Lots of fun with a simple concept. I know the second game might not be too different, but I'm still excited for a continuation none the less.

The globe is kind of annoying, but it isn't unbearable. I like it and hopefully they make it much easier to navigate. The whole globe thing was for the use of the spaceship and the super fast travel for sackboys.

The biggest draw back for me, was that to create a great level, that actually makes a difference, takes huge time

If they streamlined some stuff a lot more, i would be interested, maybe with Move it is better, i will rent it, see reviews and if reviews sugegst MOve use is helping and i like what i see, i will buy it

Until then of course, i plan to rent it, since i did nto like the SP in LBP1 and could not make a great level in short time, so i did not bother with it in the end

Well they adding a integrated community site where you can print out bar codes for levels, then later scan them and load said level.

If only you could sell the stuff you make, then you could put 8-12+ months in developing a real game and be great, knowing you will be rewarded for the time

As it is, we will never see proffessional level of content, like a full game can provide

The community ruined planet searching because of all those "get your points/glitches/blah here" levels that get thousands of plays and push any other levels into Page 4+. And then even worse was the copiers, like a certain Ms. Ravens.

So yeah the new features should help a good deal with getting your level out there and will help hopefully with filtering out the spam.

Looking at some of the LBP2 vids it looked like 2 or 3 layers beyond the play layers could be used (only glimpses now so dont quote me on it), ya never know, maybe they seen what people could do with the layer glitch and decided to add some support for it.

Your link sucks. Partly because it's a link to a link, and partly because it says "LBP2 is one of the most exclusive games." I mean, what does that even mean?

But, I'm excited for the game. The first still offers content and features yet to be matched and the game is pure fun. Anyone can play it, and they will, provided you show it to them.

There'll be a ton of Mario and Sonic levels again in LBP2 with the new physics modifiers and with a playable front view (2D) it'll be closer to Mario than ever. And yeah i can imagine Starcraft already lol. And a Rez type game.

Playing LBP1 with friends has been one of the best online experiences ive ever had. And i play lots of ps3 games online. Only a few ofthem can keep my interest for long and this one certainly did. I was surprised how many creative levels people could pull off with such simple concept (walking, jumping and grabbing). I cant wait to see what people are gonna do with LBP2 which seems to have almost endless possibilities now.

The Globe IS unbearable. Its like dropping you into one of those McDonald playgrounds with all the colorful balls. Good lucky finding that specific one.

So far from what I have read, I am really happy about this

- Advanced glue "allows you to select two items of your own to bonding instead of all objects adjacent to the corresponding object.

Mouse and Keyboard Support.
