Ok i hate when fanboys point out how there are so many little 12 years olds on live. I've been playing halo at my friends house for months so far and I've never heard "kids screaming on the mics".. i don't know who makes this stuff up but its all BS. Live is a fun socializing experience, so stop ruining it.
It's all personal experience. Even I have been looking for people that scream and crap on XBL and I couldn't find a single one. I always end up with a group of people that just pull out jokes while in the Halo lobby, and they're pretty hilarious. The only thing that I found a bit disturbing was a 13 year old that wanted to show me a porn screenshot via File Share.
People also say "Who needs a mic on PSN, we don't want little kids screaming" are just wrong..I'm killing for Sony to make a standard mic. I don't even have one and I don't want to buy a crappy mic that just sends out static to people. Now I'm waiting for SOCOM to come out so I can get their headset since I already bought Warhawk on PSN.
I stopped playing pub games all together because of 1. Kids 2. Racists 3. Flamers 4. General Douches 5. People Rapping into their Mics.
Sure it doesn't really bother you initially, but over time it grinds on your nerves so much its unbearable. At least when I go sever browsing for a game like TF2 on PC i can jump on a Karaoke / music server, or insta re-spawn, with the full knowledge of what to expect from people.
One of probably 1,000,000 reasons I stay away from XBOX Live, especially Halo on Live is those little bastards. There is nothing more pathetic then a 10 year old screaming curse words into a mic just because you fragged him. I can just imagine these children checking around the room before they actually expel a naughty word. The game is rated mature for a reason kids; when you turn 18 you can talk with the big people.
Those little kids on live are funny ass hell,i dont see why people hate them so much.Theres nothing like beating the hell out of a kid on CoD4 and when we get back to the lobby he points me out and starts screaming at me lol,makes me feel good because im that good that im making some little 10 year old go crazy over the video game.
But its not just the little kids,alot older people on live act like this too.
yea im pretty much guessing you've never played XBL...and if you have Battlefield: modern combat is the only game you have played....thats XBL's retirement home
oh they are there, im pretty sure your exagerating on months if you havent heard any screaming kids yet, that or you dont go over to your friends a lot, but they are there, ive experienced a lot of them, every once in a while youll come accross one whos actually not that bad, its rare in my experience, some kid killed me on halo because i took the sniper rifle, but trust me, they are there

I would hardly call it "made up", because its somewhat true, sorry to break it to you.
I dont know why people say its only on XBL though as its not. On PSN you sometimes get little kids swearng on games that are obviously way too old for them. sometimes you also get people playing music or other annoying tunes with the sole purpouse of annoying others.
Its not just on XBL fanboys just say that to say that PSN is better. Any console/pc has this problem.
