Not enough is known about the gameplay.

Most people are excited because of the team of developers working on the game. Their staff includes a lot of talented people.

waait hold on where did you get the idea that talented people are working on LKS I think you just randomly throw that down just face it theres nothing to hype. Its just a crappy teaser trailer, at best i'd compare this to Fat Princes.

This isn't one single development staff. It's a mix of some of the brightest minds in gaming.

The staff includes the men behind Harvest Moon, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Super Mario RPG, and more.

A dreadfully bad artsyle combined with very little gameplay and we are getting all this hype because of developers? I dont even know them, from what I understand from this thread its from the Pikmin guys? big freaking deal?:|

Hyping it for being a mixture of DEVS is as retarded as those who want Bungie and VALVE to merge thinking together they will make a better game than Halo/Half-Life ... naive ....

1.) Artstyle is opinion based; there's a lot of people who like it.

2.) Very little gameplay because the game isn't out yet. It's almost impossible to play a game you don't have.

3.) Nobody from Pikmin is involved in the making of this game, pay more attention.

Just because they mentioned Pikmin doesn't mean you assume its from the makers.. they mentioned it because the game shares same gameplay elements as pikmin if you actually read the thread you would know.

So being excited about a game being made a great staff of talented devs is wrong? Its raw talent and protential for a great looking game, with interesting art style and so.

This development staff is composed of single people, responsible for great games.

The Knight on the cow is both a reference to Don Quixote and self-referential humor to their own Harvest Moon Cow.

Story book cutscenes are the only real parts that look hand-drawn, you must not have paid attention to the first post.

Gameplay is sort of like Pikmin mixed with RPG/Sim elements. You can gather townsfolk, and assign them jobs, and look after them. You can also build new structures in the town, along with leaving your village to kill monsters or conquer other kingdoms.

Now please, if you don't know anything about a game then don't come into a thread just to bash it.
