Pacman (atari version), next to ET, was the main reason for one of the biggest downfalls in videogame history. So I guess it WAS one of the most important video games of all time. ;) (I'm just being negative :P It is also probably the most famous arcade games ever made)

Only difference is LBP is done on a 2D plane and much simpler then what Garry's mod offers.

I'd rather play Garry's mod with 32 players online with all of the wacky game modes people have ceated, let alone inventions and duke it out in a.i battles, making machinima ect.

Go figure.

LBP is good no question, though its simplicity has the possiblity of limiting its capabiltiies - in order to make it more acessable.

In short. I strongly doubt it will come close to rivaling G-mod as a 'creative sandbox' title.

Obviously it's not going to be the most important game EVER (unless they're hiding something massive- such as the game makes sandwiches for you).

But I do think it could potentially be the biggest PS3 title. It has the potential to transcend age and gender and therefore could move a serious amount of units if it takes off. That's a lot of "ifs" and "potential," but it's certainly there.

It sold me on the PS3! :)
