Live vs. Plus.. your opinion now!??

Your thoguhts, i'd like to know, which service you say offer the best for a price? they go exactly like this:

PSN+:

• $50 for 15 Months
• Free game rental for games during your subscribtion period ( you get to keep your trophies if subscribtion cancelled )( example stacking, LBP,wipeout,sonic,etc)
• Free avatars which you get to keep
• Cloud Storage
• 50% or more discount for games
• Exclusive betas
• Free Playstation online magazine Qore every month

XBL:

• $60 for 12 Months
• Cross Game Chat
• Online gameplay
• 1 Month exclusive entrance to Call of Duty map packs

Dont know about you guys but from what i see PS+ >>> XBLA..even without Ps+ you get to play your games online without paying..just let us know your thoguhts below :)

XBL is a service that provides features, PSN+ is something like a discount card to buy stuff at a discount... This is like asking" "what is better, the game or the console?", it does not make sense cus u can't play the game without the console.

TC is this a joke i have had psn+ since it started only now has it gotten DECENT it still isnt worth the price of admission. But prime example they only now just started updating it every so often and they are still givin out free GARBAGE syphon filter 1 and 3 and you HAVE to use the directional pad and not the analog stick. Wake me when they give out something for free other than stacking cause that was the best game they gave out so far.

"Having to pay" doesn't make anything comparable. It whatare you paying for what makes things comparable.

XBL is paying to play online. PSN+ is paying for discounts, game rents, etc.

They are vastly different things.

Agreed on the syphon filter games, i didnt even bother donwloading them but stacking, LBP move, sonic,the sega upcoming games are all great! they even gave out the sam and max games which cost $35 for free for members.

Agreed on the syphon filter games, i didnt even bother donwloading them but stacking, LBP move, sonic,the sega upcoming games are all great! they even gave out the sam and max games which cost $35 for free for members.

I think the features of PSN+ have a broader appeal (I care about hardly anything related to XBL Gold because I don't use the friend system) but it's not unlocking an essential feature of the console so it's not worth as much as Gold. As they're priced, both are sort of a wash if you own both consoles. I don't plan to renew my Gold account or get PSN+.

Is it safe to say the TC doesn't own an Xbox, and has never touched XBL given the feature list he has for the Xbox side?

Just to also point out: Xbox Live refers to the platform as a whole, rather than specifically the premium part (Gold). If you're asking for my opinion Live vs. Plus, then it's obviously going to always be Live. (my opinion).Ravensmash

Ok, but those aren't the only two things XBL has.

Perhaps if instead of being biased you would just turn on an Xbox at some point in your life? Maybe play some of the games it has, and experience what it has to offer rather than bashing everything about it while being completely misinformed?

sure they are, but the online should be free to begin with.. why should you pay $60 for only half of a game when you get the whole game on psn.. Xbl is a rip- been saying it for years... some of you are still blind to it though.Midnightshade29

I already explained why they aren't comparable (in short: they offer very different things), so you're welcome to explain why do you think they are. Just saying "sure they are" won't doesn't really explain it.
