Looks like the Kinect defense team is in full force today. I'm still trying to figure why all of a sudden people are embracing motion controls.

It has nothing to do with Kinect defense team, it has everything to do with the fact defense team. The item isnt made nor sold by MS, its a USB extension cord.

The only extra piece of kit you need to use Kinect with an old 360 is a power brick, which MS have said will be included with the Kinect.

yes I have heard MS say that Kinect will work with all consoles. I also see that this cord isnt made by MS lol I mean come on.

This is just an extension cable... Why would MS pack in an extension cable?

yeah well i think the TC really thought that it was required or didnt know and was jumping for joy trying to break a story. In the end it was an extention cord like you pointed out but to get to that point it was pretty funny overall. The absuridty of it all just shows what type of place SW is.

Clearly, this is a vital accessory not just for old model 360s but new ones as well. We all know how sensitive the console is to movement while playing a game. It's probably best to keep the console in a completely different room when people are jumping around playing Kinect games. :P

Not really.

What you need is the PSEye and the Move controller. The DS3/Sixxaxis can be used instead of the nunchuck.

Other than that its all optional.

I have the eye, don't need a charger kit, wont play withanyone at the same timeand Ihave enough dexterity to hold a PS3 controller with one hand so....

I guess you didn't want to take into account that Kinect supports more than 1 player at the same $150. I don't see how Move wins anymore.....
