[QUOTE="Unforgiven2870"][QUOTE="eatmyjunx"][QUOTE="-uHuRu"]i personally hate it. i payed more than $600 for my xbox 360. i'm going to get a ps3 and be happpyyyyy cuz everything is included or freeseems like you have seen the light  and what you mean when you say you paid more then 600?what that include seprately besides XBL? no thats with XBL included, but i had to buy battery packs, battery charger, wireless headset for 60 bucks (bluetooth headsets are as cheap as $20). not only that but a newer better xbox 360 is coming out thats $79 more than what I payed for (premium $400) about 2 months ago, and it has HDMI and a 120gig hd. I bet they will sell the $120 HD for about $159 meaning if I wantedto upgrade my HD on my HDMI-less xbox 360 im going to pay about 400+159 + all the other stuff I just listed. and XBL too.Ahh yes the glory of being milked eh?so lemmings do you like all these 'choices'?
Core X360 or Premium X360 or Elite 360.
Silver Live Account or Gold Account.
Wired Controller or Wireless Controller.
Lots of accessories: HD DVD add on, Wifi add on, Play and Charge Kit, Rechargeable Battery Pack, HDMI console, overpriced HDD ($100 for 20GB), Faceplates, Quick Charge Kit, 64MB Memory Unit, Xbox Live Vision Camera, Wireless Headset, Universal Remote and more.
Seriously, Lemmings, enjoy your 'choices' lol

Oh wow... I don't have to pay so much for an elite 360, and people who don't want a premium or elite can save money and get a core system. That's so bad, right?
If I don't want a gold account to play games online, I don't have get it. That's terrible! How am I supposed to live with that burden?!
I don't have to get accessories I don't want! O NOES! :o
Have fun with your $600 console. Oh wait! But you can choose to have a $500 version. What will you do? I guess the only choice is a Wii, right?
Wii60 FTW! :D
[QUOTE="SambaLele"][QUOTE="SambaLele"]/thread.Well, we could always list those choices, so every lemming, sheep or cow knows exactly what is there to choose:
1. Xbox 360 Core: No WiFi, no HDMI, no HDD, just the basic "i just wanna play games" package. = $299
if you decide to upgrade that system you'll have to pay independently for any of these: WiFi - $100, 20 GB HDD - $100, Next-Gen Disc Format - $200, XBL if you want to play online - $ 50 per year, rechargable batteries, wireless controllers, 64 Memory Card, etc... i don't want to calculate it all now, but the price skyrockets. Around $800 i guess. Adding the XBL price, you'll have spent more $250 for 5 years of online play. So the total becomes at least $1050.
2. Xbox 360 Premium: 20 GB HDD, component cables, wireless controllers, etc. = $399
If you decide to upgrade this one you'll willingly pay for each desired part: WiFi - $100, Next-Gen Disc Format - $200 and XBL Gold if you want to play online - $ 50 per year. That's $950 after 5 years of online gaming.
Â
Or, 1 year and half after the console's launch there's a new option:
3. Xbox 360 'Elite': everything the premium pack has + HDMI, black system, 120 GB HDD. = $480
Again, to upgrade it's: Wifi - $100, HD-DVD add-on for movies - $200 and XBL Gold for online play - $50 a year giving you that MS may release a new console in 2010, that's at least 3 years of subscription until next-gen comes. So $480 + 100 + 200= $780 or $930 for 3 years of XBL Gold.
Â
Now, MS gave you these choices. But they aren't alone in the market, you can also choose one of these ones:
4. Wii: rumble and motion sensor controller, WiFi, Bluetooth, 512 MB flash memory, free online. - $250
5. 20 GB PS3: HDMI, motion sensor controller, Next-Gen Format Disc, Bluetooth, 20 GB HDD and free online with Home. - $499
6. 60 GB PS3: WiFi, HDMI, motion sensor controller, Bluetooth, Next-Gen Format Disc, 60 GB HDD and free online with Home. - $599
Â
So, everyone, you can decide, you know, after all the choices are wide and numerous. MS itself gives you 3 of them, one of course wasn't available at launch, but they don't care much.

should be!Â
I have long since believed Gamespot should not allow newbee accounts to post in SW until at least 1000 posts have been accumulated. This would eliminate alot of useless dribble, like this thread.so lemmings do you like all these 'choices'?
