They get the origional COD 4 the day that MW 2 comes out. They are so happy about it, and I bet the port will suck if W@W is anything to go by. 8 player online, no objective based modes, sucky graphics, hackers and glitches, no teamspeak, and no DLC!

Which is not a lot with respect tothe Wii's install base. Especiallynot in light of COD's performance on the PS3 and 360. Also name one other shooter that sold well on the Wii. (except for Metroid maybe, but that didn't sell well because it's a shooter, it sold well because it's a Metroid game).

the wii sales doesnt mean its full of good games. it just means 2 things.

1-wii owners are casuals who dont read reviews, websites, and magazines.

2-there is such a lack of quality games that you all basically take chances on crap titles with the hope of actually finding a reason to use the machine.

My original point was that the Wii isn't really a 'shooter console', contrary to the competition this gen. No amount of reasoning will prvoe that point wrong. Commercial succes indeed is a lot easier on the Wii this gen. Not surprising with almost double the install base. Still shooters don't sell half as well in absolute sense as shooters on the PS3 and360, meaning they don't do very well on the Wii in the bigger picture.

its a quality title on the other consoles, the Wii version is a watered down ugly looking version, with horrible online play. If you dont own any of the other system or a good gaming PC im glad you can enjoy a shooter thats better than shovelware, but its kinda sad.

People seem to like the last COD that was made for the Wii so aside from the obvious lack of visual fidelity, it's a COD port.It's hilarious how people who aren't even going to play it are going on about it. no because those would be nearly identicle to there original versions, not stripped of there best features, and all the pretty textures turned into mud! Also MGS was exclusive to the ps3, so if you have a pc, 360, and a Wii, it would be nice to play. Mass effect was 360 and pc, so if you own a pc that cant handle running mass effect and a ps3, then you would probably, love to get your hands on it for the ps3. Again these would come with all graphics and features intact, and probably add new content to boot. MW was on the ps3 360 and PC, so ONLY if you own just a Wii, so you now get to purchase a version of the game that will be sadly stripped of its nice visuals and online features, If your a Wii owner and your here you obviously have a pc why wouldnt you just buy the pc version which is 10x better?
