[QUOTE="Illumination77"]What the? The 360 hasn't even sold 10 million worldwide, let alone 10 million in the US. It's user base is around 5.5 million or so. Nintendo already has close to 2 million users in the US. If these trends continue, US sales of Wii will surpass the 360 by the end of this year.[QUOTE="Zhengi"][QUOTE="rexoverbey"]Wii numbers were only 100,000 more that's not that impressive for 360 being out a whole year ahead of it. On top of that that is only 1.2 Million a year more it would take Wii almost 9-10 years to surpas 360 in the US at that pace.Parl
It has hit 10 million worldwide. Those are the sales figures their inenstors are using. Buisiness profesionals who have been doing this for years knwo ALOT more then a fanboy on a msg board. Microsoft doing so well should NOT be a surprise. ps2 only had a 2-1 sales lead over xbox1 in the USA.
This is terrible, right here. Terrible. System Wars is full of arrogance. If Xbox 360 had sold 10 million by the end of last year, at the moment they'd shipped 10.4 million, then that'd mean they'd have 1.9 million to sell for half a year worldwide has MS have stated they're only shipping 1.5 more million until the end of June. Nov counts as two month's sales, Dec as 4 on average. By that, by the end of the year, Xbox 360 has been out for 22 months (or less because it didn't launch everywhere in Nov, AND didn't launch at the start of Nov anywhere). At the same rate, Xbox 360 needs at least 2.7 or 2.7 million more units until March; more than the 1.9M that'll be available in that time period. That'll teach you not to speculate on shipment numbers! Finished speculating? At best, Xbox 360, to this very day, has sold no more than 9.5 million. EVEN TO THIS DAY! The data from Europe has shown sluggish data, and MS said it's about 50% of NA market for Xbox 360. Let's say that's bumped up to 55% of NA for goos measure, and add it to NPD and MC sales, then that doesn't even touch 9 million. But I believe NPD and MC undertrack oftentimes, and believe XBox 360 has sold more than 9 million, but not by much, of course. Sorry to kick a person while down, but Wii is sold out, and as stock supplies increase, its month-on-month sales above 360 will continue to widen. Currently at 140,000 more, which is modest compared to what it WILL, I suspect, but let's be VERY modest and say it won't. Xbox 360's best case scenerio, if Wii doesn't increase in popularity like DS did, is to get its ass kicked. Worst case, it'll just happen sooner. Why do you still refuse to believe it hasn't sold 10 million? This has already been confirmed by both MS and numerous news organizations. Stop looking at that stupid incorrect vga site.
