PS4 is at its best momentum, selling 20 million consoles per year, has at least 10 major exclusives guaranteed for the next 3 years, and on the top of that, games still look completly insane...almost CGI like.

A PS5 now would make zero sense. I don't think Sony is that stupid.

I hope PS5 don’t show up until 2020 and release at 2021. I’m happy with PS4 and the amount of games it’s getting.

I see an entirely different side of the equation. 2 and a half years ago, Microsoft had to announce "Project Scorpio" to start the poo parade going. Now, in 2018, a rumor about PS5 devkits is sending people scrambling for context where there isn't anything to contextualize. Sony doesn't have to hold anyone's hand to start hype for a machine they clearly are not even ready to announce, yet.

Even if it did, it didn't have the official longest game drought in history nor did it only get like a dozen worthy games (+ports/rehashes) in it's lifespan.

WiiU is the most laughable crap console ever released by a major gaming company (Sega add ons excepted), enjoy your Switch (with it's cutting edge games like Skyrim and Dark Souls!) and be glad Ninty killed that last crap when they did.
