lol Wii lost its 15 second spotlight

of course it repassed the wii when they were already neck and neck and they just released their biggest game but the wii has 2 big nintendo games to be released yet this not to mention the other games that are non nintendo made

The Wii will go back in sales once the Halo 3 madness calms down and titles like SSBB and SMG come out.

The gap between Wii and 360 isn't a margin of millions( at least I don't think it is) since the 360 launched with the head start. The article makes it damn obvious the sales are clearly related to Halo 3.

The Wii has sold 12.03 million consoles (abouts)

Halo 3 did according to this sell about 2.5 million copies during it's first week. 1,25 million pre-orders and 1,25 bought first week. That is a new record.

However, it only pushed the 360s hardware sales up with 125 000. Which means that Halo has to keep going like this for MORE than 7 weeks to beat Wii. (Since Wiifrom before had higher sales.)

Is this possible? Yes, but very doubtfully.
