My advice: Don't come here for advice. Do your own research. See what games you are interested in. Determine the value and worth of each console and see what suites you and your wallet.DonPerianExactly you do not want to listen to the 99% of bs made up from fanboys here.

You gotta look and see which one has the games you want. Also, do you have any friends that own a certain console that you could play online with? Figure out what controler you like, Motion games (Wii) or gamepads(PS3, 360)
All consoles are great, you just gotta find out which one is best for you!
coin toss
flip 3 coins
if all heads then 360
if 2 heads and 1 tails PS3
if 1 heads and 2 tails Wii
if all tails redo

From a straight up bang for your buck in terms of hardware perspective ps3 is the obvious choice. Blu-ray is great if you're into movies and wifi is also included. Games, graphics, and controller is more up in the air.
Hold both controllers and see which you like more. Look at the libraries and see which you like more, if you like multiplats the most they generally are better on the 360, If graphics are your thing ps3 is ahaid at the moment, but if you're looking long term, 360 games coming down the pipeline look to match or better the ps3 stuff out right now.
Compare the online services. Ps3 is free while 360 is pay to play. Despite what people say there usually isn't enough differences between the services to justify paying for live over psn, but there are a lot more people using live.
All comes down to what criteria you personally hold important.

No not really. Not to say you are, but you are missing some big titles such as Demon's Souls for an example.[QUOTE="GuysSeriously"][QUOTE="SomeGuyInLA"]No not really. Not to say you are, but you are missing some big titles such as Demon's Souls for an example.^^^obvious 360 fanboy

Also, there are about 10 games on that 360 exclusives list that AREN'T exclusives.
Do what everyone else said. Don't listen to anybody here. Do your own research. If anything, you'd be better off posting in the respective individual consoles' forums. At least then you don't have to read between arguments.
