So their flaws can be over looked that they have very generic and a pretty much non-existent gameplay, but onrails segment after another scripted segment. And their multiplayer could easily be compared to that of C3, you can't say they have some really innovative or ground breaking multiplayer. How about GoW3 fixed camera or less than 60 fps gameplay with the same QTE heavy gameplay without any evolution? Or What about the mother of all easy games CoD?
Whatever only thing this proves is that Gamespot is very inconsistent in their reviewing mechanism, they don't judge the games based on the same standards.

That's your opinion about those game's gameplay, and it's a terrible one at that. They don't have the flaws that you percieve.
- Remarkably easy, all the way to the end Â
- Lacks the standout battles of earlier games in the series Â
- AI is easily exploited.
These are the complains he had about the game. Just wait for GoW:A and see how it gets a 9+ just because of scripted 'wow' moments. Or what about Jouney the GotY how long was that and how much of a game was that or how hard what that?
Even with all these complains 7.5 for an easy game is way too low when even in Kevin's own words the art style is difficult to do (and looks very cool to me) and also when you have DmC sitting at 8. Take note Crytek, don't just waste your energy on visuals and level design, market the hell out of it.
