Well no multiplayer mode is prettymuch an insult that deserves a couple points off. Can't you sheep even admit that considering the DS version had one and that there are no online games on the Wii, that Nintendo should've included one.
Lazy_Boy88
No. MP3 should not have multiplayer.
You do realize that MP3 has new weapons and power ups too right?MP3 is pretty much in the same situation as Halo 3. but unlike MP3 halo 3 at least has improved graphics and new weapons/ vehicles not seen in the previous game.

1-Metroid and multiplayer do not work well together.
2. Metroid Prime Hunters, the DS game you refer to, is proof of this. Plus, it was not developed by Retro.
3.-Pokemon Battle Revolution and Mario Strikers Charged are two online games for the Wii. The latter's online play mode received praise in multiple reviews, including Gamespot's review.
4.-If Gamespot takes off points for MP3 lacking mulitplayer, the quality of said review will drop.

If he knew anything about the series he'd probably agree. Multiplayer in Metroid is like multiplayer in Bioshock.

MP3 has improved the graphics (slightly), and there are new weapons and vehicles not seen in the previous game.
...and they've changed more than that - MP3 is plot driven now, it's much more cinematic than the previous games, and the gameplay has been tweaked a fair bit (now we've got the free-aim lock-ons, the jump ball, stackable weapons, the ability to use the grapple as a weapon, etc. - a whole bunch of minor additions that improve on the gameplay on the previous games)

Well from reading that GGL Wire preview and listening to 1up talk about it and suchGGNoRematch
Awesome, awesome previews. First off GGL played a demo featuring the very beginning of a game, great way to judge a whole game. As for 1UP, Mark was very positive about MP3 though easily could tell he was being reserved because of Shane's complaining and was whinny like always, but even then Shane hadnt finished the game like Mark has and he wasnt even that negative outside of the graphics not being 360 quality.
Go read IGNs, or even GSs preview, Joystiqs recent one and the MP3 hype thread on NeoGAF, where there are a number of previews from guys with final builds. There are extremely minor quips people have with the game, but they are all extremely positive.

And after Zelda TP you guy should stop saying AAA is in the bag, Zelda had a better chance of being AAA than Metroid and GS was being nice giving it an 8.5.

How can you say that without even knowing the story in Metroid Prime 3?

Either a lack of Metroid experience or fanboy bias. Metroid Prime is considered, by all who have played it, to be a wonderful (soon to be) trilogy.

What I'm hearing from Sheep:
"MP2 had a sucky MP which also resulted a sucky SP; The devs aren't able to make them both, so the game shouldn't have MP".

Then you should probably turn up your hearing aid. In order for Metroid to have a decent multiplayer they would have to either change the entire game, or make a completely different game and add it on. If you think that MP3 should have multiplayer then there's little chance you've ever played one.

funny, cause Halo 3 will most likely have a great singeplayer campaign along with a great Multiplayer mode on top of that.
Not necessarily if Halo 2 was any indicator. I was very disappointed with that single player campaign.

No I do know what I'm talking about. I have the DS Metroid and played it online a bunch and with friends. It was pretty good and fit the game well, especially if you bothered to get good with the controls. Quit trying to defend an obvious deficiency of an FPS in these modern times. Nintendo needs to produce an online shooter and this is the perfect opportunity that, like usual, they just piss away. Nintendo just has no ambition to produce anything of greatness and that's why I do not favor them, although yes many of their games are fun. It's just that when you're making games with simplistic last gen visuals I would expect there to be MORE CONTENT if it still costs full price. You sheep are the ones that let them get away with this crap by buying games with sub par content at full price. And seriously where the hell is our Pokemon MMO? Any other company with that franchise would've jumped at the opportunity because it fits it so perfectly. It's not like Bioshock at all. Bioshock is an epic modern game on platforms flooded with online shooters. MP3 is an epic Gamecube game on a system where ANY online shooter would be good and with gameplay that would fit multiplayer perfectly (unless the controls just suck..). There is just no excuse to not have it and you people need to quit letting Nintendo get away with ancient game design.
