Then your not even a real FF fan because not only is Lost Oddessy a NEW franchise and is a FRESHLY new franchise. It looks to better graphically and gameplay wise then FF. Oh and yeah it's a new MS Franchise to take the crown from FF.

Oh and keep in mind MS always show gameplay of there games. Not like Sony that like to mostly like to hide behind CGI cutscenes. Becuase MS know the 360 produces better graphics so they can FLEX that on Sony and not be scared.

LO looks great but the battle system is a retarded Legend of Dragoon Additions Battle System. If they at least used the addition, but there is simply one 'precission circle'

I suppoted Mistwalker and am going to continue to, but there is no way LO's battle system is anywhere close to the fast and intense battle system we'll see in FFXIII. I hope it doesnt turn into one big "QTE" event though. LO's battle seems so old, and outdated.-JayWong-

Exactly thank you. People seem to think that Lost Oddyssey is not allowed to evolved and have new and better things over the course of it's franchise life. And i'm better that LO will have many many sequels.

Lets not jump the gun, it may flop. I have high hopes for it, but there is no guarrentee it'll be better than FF. An 8.5 or above will be great, so lets just enjoy Eternal Sonata first.

Visually better? YA NO! LO isn't really spectacular visually, not even friggen close. The skin textures are meh, there isn't a whole lot of detail on the human body (i mean it looks no more detailed than anime) which you can see from that scene where the main character is naked for one reason or another. And the hair never flows right. It looks especially awkward when he tries to swish it back, but for one physically impossible reason, his bang just doesn't move.

The battle system...is like Suikoden 1 with a few timing inputs, so yeah, I think i'd prefer FFX's battle system to that, and certainly I'd take XII's.

Im not sure how complex they will make the actual selections, but the Current FF battle systems are a joke. I prefer the atlus style where when wrong move ends your game when the attack is sent back at you. You have to know all your enemies and weaknesses to be succesful, while FF is very easy and meant for noobs. I hope LO captures some of the magic from Final Fantasy IV and VI

Lost Odyssey (if you have seen the new vids) is literraly a Final Fantasy clone. Graphics look great, but they are using the same battle system of 6+ year old FF games. That's not good. Just look at Blue Dragon.

It will be a great game. But don't plan on seeing any high scores.
