Are you people still on that 360 is the RPG platform this gen especially after all those flops? If you want RPGs, head over to the DS or PSP.Zhengiflops? quite a few of the flops you talk about were games that were never hyped, as for that its simply historically in line that None final fantasy rpgs sell badly and score badly this was proven in the ps1 and ps2 days no rpg rivaled the final fantasy games in scores or sales.
Lost Odyssey is easily the best JRPG this gen if you ask me. Not even a contest. :)Ninja-HippoAgreed. Love it.

I still have to finish disc 4, but there are these arthosaureses or something that i cant beat.
I would like a sequal if it gets rid of the REALLY annoying children, replaces some of the more average characters
and it would have to keep the dreams, thats the best part.

It only rivals FF in score and sales in Japan...

So now scores and sales don't matter because they're from Japan? What kind of logic is that? Hey, Final Fantasy also sells in Japan, but let's not count those either cause Japan is a non-important country whose sales don't matter. Plus, Dragon Quest VIII scored a 9.0 here on GameSpot. Don't tell me this doesn't count either.[QUOTE="Vyyral"][QUOTE="Zhengi"] I present to you the Dragon Quest series. How do you like that crow?Zhengi

And DQVIII was awesome, but it's the only installment in the series that had any amount of success in the west on consoles. And even then it pales to the reception FF get in the west.

But the previous poster was making it sound like there are no RPG games that score and sell well. I'm just saying that Dragon Quest scores and sells well too.
And from your second statement, it's obvious you want to make this a West vs. Japan thing. All I'm saying is, who cares cause they both freaking sell and score well, which proves the poster I quoted wrong.
