Lost Planet 2 was never exclusive for any system. Even Lost Planet was released on the PS3 after the 360's exclusive time ran out. Capcom probably has a new IP that's exclusive for the Xbox 360. They love the system because it has made them a huge amount of money. They only expected LP and Dead Rising to sell about 500K on the XBox 360, but both games sold well over 1 million copies and surpassed Capcom's expectations. So expect a few more timed exclusives on the XBox 360.
Was this game miles different on PS3? All my friends who have 360s and played Lost Planet talk about how good it was. PS3 only owners seem to really put this title down though. What gives?

i still dont see why, capcom games that are released simultaniously tend to sell 50/50 on the consoles and dead rising and the first LP were released before the launch of the ps3 so it would make sense hy it would sell so well. but hey if they are good games then i wont knock them

I heard it was lacking something but was really good for what if offered, lost planet 2 seems to fix those problems. Of course I've only played the game at my friends house.

I liked the online demo, I was about to pick it up since it was $40. But I decided not to and save up for other games. Not sure why PS3 owners aren't talking about it.
Today the Official PlayStation Magazine has published an article revealing that Lost Planet 2 will be coming to the PS3.
The article says: "...Capcom has since confusingly refused to confirm on the record what Lost Planet 2 is coming out on. Whatever guy. We can tell you that it is definetly going to be released on PS3."
That's not a confirmation.
Also, my antivirus went ballistic, it says that site hosts a trojan.

yea, i dont think that capcom ill have a problem making the game run and look as good on both systems
but yea the ps3 version of LP has worse textures, no AA and barely stable 30FPS... yea

educated guess - LP 1 was over a year timed exclusive on 360 b4 it went to PS3 - LP 2 was announced only for 360 origionally I dont know, it all points to a timed exclusivity, otherwise why announce it only for 360 at the beginning?

well that is true but wasnt LP out before the launch of the ps3? but yea if they did announce LP2 on the 360 first then that may very well be an indication that capcom is hyping the 360 version first then go on to hype a ps3 port

The Xbox 360 version were far superior in terms of gameplay. The game ran smooth as silk on the XBox 360. I never did finish the game.

I was going to get this game for my 360 but now im really stoked because i can get it for my PS3 instead. Is the 360 going to have any exclusives at all this year?

By system wars logic, yeah most probably. I bet if crysis went to consoles looking exactly the same as a high end pc would make it look, but were multiplat, cows would still dub KZ2 graphics king. FACT=Multiplats cant be graphics kings.. sadly.

I would'nt be surprised if it were or were not exclusive, to be honest. i expect it to be a long timed exclusive,but sometimes you just can't be sure. the reason why they can't say for sure if it will be ported on the ps3 is because they are a 3rd party developing team and nothing is really set in stone....same thing with the whole situation with Kojima and MGS4 on the 360. First he said it was an ps3 exclusive..afew months later after a ton of rumors started to spread about a 360 version being in the works; he said that they had no plans to release a 360 version "at this time" in other words...he can't predict the future and didn't want to come off as a liar to his fans if the game did show up the 360.
