Lots of reported issues for PS5

I have had a few issues. Nothing too bad.

• Demon's Souls crashed on me once.
• Last time I powered the PS5 on it didn't make the beep sound and took a long time to start up
• After I installed Demon's Souls, the game would not launch. I had to restart the system.

I guess this translates into

"PS5 games crashes and system wouldn't boot."

Seriously fanboys need to stop. This happens to every console at release. There will always be failures. There is nothing to see here just like the Xbox crap. Grow up fanboys!

People are so special. Sites shouldn't allow reviews unless you own the product. The PS5 rating on Walmart is being downgraded because they can't purchase the system. 😂🤣

Dozens of people on Reddit claiming the PlayStation 5 Won’t even power on. Others say the console freezes during boot up And won’t even get to the user interface.

If you go to PlayStation support even they are admitting their support team is getting hammered right now.

I've seen some people reporting crashes but this can happen during a console launches.

Thanks Europe and Canada for beta testing the PS5. I'll wait for the superior slim version when there might actually be a exclusive with playing on it. I can't believe people still buy consoles at launch.

Received my PS5 yesterday and picked up Demon Souls and Spider-man. The only issue I ran into was transferring Horizon from my PS4. The PS4 got stuck in transferring either though it failed on the PS5. Had to get it to safe mode before I could restart the process.

I do have 1 gripe with the PS5 and that's why didn't it come with a cable for the controller? You need it to sync with your console and gets updates. How much would it have cost Sony to include the cable? It wasn't a huge issue because I have USB C cables but still Sony should have included it.

Yeah, just went thru the box again. No such luck. I'll contact Sony see if they can send me one. If not I guess I'll survive.

Yeah I have a couple cords but I have to disconnect the devices I'm using them for. It's inconvenient but I can work with it for now.

Turns out because I purchased from BB they're responsible for the cable replacement. I just have to go to BB and show them my receipt.

Even more screw ups from Sony, are they hiring children to pack these things.

@i_p_daily: yep. PS5’s are bricking left and right. GPU overclocking has caused issues for people as a lot of GPU failures are being reported.

Well it doesn't surprise me when they can't even put the right consoles in the right boxes, and people give this company their credit card details LOL.

Series S and X were so much easier to obtain but I just never checked out because it'll be redundant. Almost 2 hours in Sam's cloud before OOSing LOL. Ant online multiple times for Series S. I wish I was the type of person that flips in ebay.

PS5 almost caught on fire and can damage new 4K tvs. Spread the word.

I'm spreading the a sm**r camp**** against Sony at least until I get one or at least until it's as easy as getting a Series S and X which I had many times of acquiring but wussing out the last minute because it seems pointless to me right now and maybe in the near future if they keep up gamepass strategy where I might just build a new PC instead.

btw ps5 also are made by slav** in balls and chains and sent into prison camps. If they box it too slow, their families are kidnapped. Don't support PS5.

Sony is basically manufacturing the next wave PlayStation fives to send to the customers who have broken consuls.

Yes. From not being able to get a PS5.

Seems like both consoles are having issues Xbox with its unoptimized versions of games and Sony with crashing and freezes.

I hope PS5's early woes get into major local news so I can finally snag one at msrp.

Don't say that, please. Legit scared by what happened to real stroke victims. :( It's really tragic for those that got in too late to get treated by anticoags. I hope they find more and better treatment methods and easier preventative programs though for most, it's gonna be more about self control.

Actually..... I had a 'Game crash and system won't boot' event last night.

Demon's Souls crashed and the system just shut off with no error messages. The system would not boot and the power button didn't respond. About 3 min later the system finally turned on, did a recovery, and I had to go through the initial HDR setup process again.

About 20 min later Demon's Souls did the normal crash with error back to the home screen.

Honestly I've had enough issues to make me worry. Hopefully it's just software. We'll see.

Also I found the hottest external part of the PS5. It's the screw that holds the base on when in the vertical orientation.

@pc_rocks: They are man children who can't afford multiple consoles and or a PC and their weak mind blurs what they chose as a kid to what is better and so they attack like kamikaze pilots.

PS5 has just been a mess with all these tech issues. Really a shame PS5 blew its launch. Customer support is so busy they are hanging up on people because all operators are busy.
