LucasArts announcing new game on Monday!

This thread is full of win. Why? Because LucasArts has so many goodies of Star Wars gaming that it would be hard for them to make us disappointed (with the announcement at least).

In Republic Commando 2's case, 360 for me. It would be the sequel to an Xbox title and I'd like to see them base it around the 360's technology. You know, with the pretty graphics and standard controls. BUT that doesn't mean a Wii version would automatically be bad. Your assumptions (which you were stating as facts) don't really prove anything. Who knows of the game would be handled on the Wii. It could go either way. Just depends on how it's developed.

The game, they say, will be "awesome news for old school fans."

I'm hoping for a new Jedi Knight or Battlefront, but I kind of doubt it. Both came out last gen, and I don't think that really qualifies as old school. I'm guessing it will be an adventure game or Rogue Squadron.

Im hoping its another Jedi Academy game, those lightsaber weilding games made by raven soft were just pure WIN, especially with the disemberment mods.

I guess I'm the only one that remembers the last 2 awful games LA released. I've lost a lot of faith in them and wonder if they can still make awesome games like JK2 after force unleashed with those BS troopers that could withstand force powers. :roll:
