I can't even imagine the after math if Halo 3 didn't get AAA or whatever it is hyped, I remember going on a hanful of sites when the TP review came out, and they all wanted Jeff's head on a stick.

D0013ER

Which is sad, really...would playing a AAA game instead of a high AA made it that much more enjoyable for them or something?

For fanboys yeah. Zelda was good but it certainly did not deserve an AAA score, I think it got what it deserved and having played the game fully all the way through, it was a very high AA title but nothing more or less. I reviewed it after only getting half way through the game but after I completed it I realised that it really was not an AAA class game, just like I don't think Halo is an AAA worthy franchise.

Except for sheep .. they are worse much much worse

When has ANY console ever had a potential %100 failure rate and been defended by that consoles fanboys?MS and the lemmings are the first to have that dubious honour. If anything, Nintendo consoles have a history of being the best made hardware.

To say all fanboys are all the same always is extremely ignorant and dishonest. Lemmings are the first fanboys to defend and downplay a potential %100 failure rate.

I can't believe lemmings. Even after the 360 has had failure rates that some are reporting to be in the area of 40%, and even after M$ (FINALLY) admitted after 2 years that every single one has a design flaw, they STILL stand by their company. Some people have reported having to turn their console in 3-4 times to be fixed/replaced. How can anyone stand for that?

I don't understand this. If Nintendo ever released a system with an inherent design flaw and astronomically high failure rates, us sheep would drop Nintendo like a bad habit. Where are lems so blindly loyal? Is it Bill Gates' power of mind control?

What is your problem withthe Microsoft fanbase? Half of your posts consist of you whining and moaning about how they are the worst. Also, look at the word 'potential' in your post. Do you not know what that means, or must I define it for you? Saying one fanbase is worse than all the others because of one thing is what is ignorant and dishonest.

Fixing it is not the problem though. Microsoft decided to sugar coat the whole problem by extending the warranty to 3 years, yet they are too stupid to get off their fat American rear ends and do some investigating into the manufacturing processes. I hope to god that M$ released the 65nm die hardware soon into the 360, maybe it will fix all the hardware flaws. I was considering getting one but knowing that there is at least a 30% failure rate, I am not going to bother until it is fixed and I doubt that will happen any time soon.

DSgamer64

I think it will be fixed soon. I believe the extended warranty was just to stop people from going crazy, instead of a lazy patch. MS isn't stupid, they know this is a legitimate problem.

I have never had an issue with my 360. Secondly how are we brainwashed??? Lets start off with Sony fans. You guys are brainwashed to the fullest that blu-ray is the next big thing, and blu-ray is a definate for future media standards. Are you kidding me there is no gaurentee in that. Technology is rapidly changing, and there is a good chance that blu-ray could go away. Not only that Sony actually convinced you to spend $600 to buy a system with not a great library of games, or a wide number of games for that matter. There might be games coming out, but not for atleast another 4-8 months are you getting a lot of considerable good games. Thats a long time for $600 in my opinion.

Then lets look at Nintendo, here is a gaming giant that has been disappointing the past few gens. But hey its still Nintendo! What do they do this gen?? They actually convinced the gaming community that a system with no upgraded hardwared, but because it has a motion sensing controller that it is actually worth $250 of your money. When it has no better than game cube graphics. Not only that, at E3 they most definately said they are aiming more towards casuals. You have to be kidding me??

So when you want to talk about Microsoft fans being the most brainwashed why don't you look at yourself.

MS listens to gamers first and foremost. They aren't trying to shove a movie player up anyones ***, and they aren't trying to get geriatrics to play their console. They built a true successor to last gen consoles, and are driving the gaming industry in a good direction.

My 360 has never had a problem, I've had it since Nov 2005. Now I've got a free 3 year warranty to go with the best console of this generation.

bluebrad1974

For the first bolded line , you are talking about MS as if they had a truechoice of including an HD player in the 360....

For the second one, it's Shame their console doesn't have % 100 backward compatibility in time they have % 100 close-to-get-broken consoles.... Nice PR's comments though.

lol

I find Sony fanboys to be the worse, but I guess you have to complain about something when you just blew $600 on a blu-ray player.

1) Speak for yourself 2) There's never been an instant when this has happened, and therefore no proof to back up your claim 3) Games.

Brainwashed...well everyone is. For example people buying a Wii which is a rip-off for what you get, and the PS3 costs too much for a games console.

And no one can be aware of such things, and still purchase and enjoy the consoles?

No, the correct answer would be "no one's brainwashed."

I find Sony fanboys to be the worse, but I guess you have to complain about something when you just blew $600 on a blu-ray player.

1) If your only rebuttal is to complain about where I place a % sign, then you clearly have no rebuttal. And I will put the sign wherever I feel like.

2) The potential %100 failure rate comes from the FACT that MS has publicly admitted that the red rings failure is a hardware flaw due to how the 360 is designed. Since every single 360 is built the same it means that every 360 sold, and every 360 that will be sold until MS announces a new chipset is being used, contain faulty hardware. Not all 360's will fail. However all 360's have faulty hardware that has the potential to fail.

3) I don't own a PS3 or a Blu-ray player. So your rush to assume I am being biased speaks more about yourown irrational bias. Clearly you only want to listen topeople who back up your bias and will ignore any FACTS that contrdict your already made up opinion.

4) You may think Sony fanboys are the worst. That is your opinion. Butthe fact is that no fanboy has ever defended a failure rate like this before, even AFTER being lied to by the company. Sure, Sony fanboys defended the PS2 evenafter SOny wassued, but not even the PS2 had a potential %100 hardware problem. I would also say that while Sony tried to ignore the issue, they never came out and said "The problem only affects %3 of all consoles and that is the lowest in console history." If they did, I will admit I'm wrong on that.

Who cares if it's free. How long is it gone for when they fix it? However long it is, that's time that you can't play your games. You people must think Bill Gates is a god or something.

Well... so what?

It sucks that the 360 has to be sent once or twice for repairs, I guess. Is not having your console for a week so bad that you're willing not to play all the good games?

It's quite simple: There's so much more to play on the 360, that even considering that downtime, you're more likely to put more hours into a 360 than a Ps3 right now.
