Mad World Just Won E3

I have to laugh at anyone who wonders why they didn't include it the conference. Did you even watch the trailer?

Mainstream media was present. Showing something like that would be entirely innapropriate. I doubt MS or Sony would have played that footage either.

Plus it goes completely against Nintendo's new image. Can you imagine what Fox news would make of it? :P

Mad World has the potential to be something very very special. Its very eye-opening that Ex-Clover (Platnium) is going back to that "Its a TELEVISION vibe" (Viewtiful Joe) but in a much more bloodier fashion.

Those Wii owners looking for a bloodymess should drop their Manhunt 2's and prepare for their main coarse :D

Yeah. Mainstream media may have been paying attention at N's press conference, but I'm sure they were hardly present for Sony's or MS's. Sony's and MS's are barely news anymore to them.

I agree with you there, mainstream media has been behind Wii from the start and sensationalised other consoles, especially when they released.

I don't think it'll get an AO rating. Clover's taken steps to make sure the violence comes across as cartoony and comedic. Realistic violence is what really ticks off the ESRB.

Rofl, that was so badass! Now this is what Im looking forward to on the wii. Not mindless killing but just something creative and out of this world lol. I guess the wii does have a few games like that but its definitely far in between. I hope this comes out soon because I can finally blow the dust off my wii :D

I can understand this because it's bloody and stuff, but what I don't understand is not a single mention of Warioland...that's the only Nintendo game I really want for the rest of the year (might get Animal Crossing might not) and they didn't even mention it at all...and yet they show off some really average third party games as well.

Are you blind or just incapable of reading? They spent like 5 minutes talking about a crappy snowboarding game by Ubiport that we already knew about, they could easily have shown off Warioland because at the moment it's the only Nintendo game that looks good.

Hahaha! Reminds me of stuff like God Hand, Street Gangs/River City Ransom and even my nostalgic memories of Maximum Carnage. Meaning it's looking pretty sweet. I hold River City Ransom as one of the best beatemups/brawlers ever. I'd argue it's better than anything released this generation. BARF!

Hope they'll port it to other platforms, cause I'm not going to buy a Wii for three games with the knowledge that those will probably be the only three games I'll ever own. MadWorld, Super Mario Galaxy, Fracture. Also, drop the price already Nintendo, you greedy bastards.
