Madden 07 > Madden 08

I rented Madden 08, and I thought it was pretty bad. The graphics seemed to be worse, for some reason, and I didn't think the key players thing was very necessary. It's also really annoying how all of the players seem to be running with high knees. Why is that? The only thing I found to be a lot better was the framerate, where you could definitely tell the difference. Apart from that, I think Madden 07 is way better. Anyone else agree? Impex

I agree. I saw it being played at Gamecrazy, I thought the same thing the graphics were dumb down.

That explains the frame rate.

Any Rookie that thinks Madden 07 > Madden 08 seriously needs to put the sticks down now. I mean seriously did you play the game? Or did you try it for 15 minutes thinking that it was going to be exactly like 2007 and were turned off that it wasn't? I mean Madden 07 was so bad that they had to use THE XBOX VERSION for the Madden Challenge. What does that tell you?

Im sorry, but EA is way off with how realistic Madden is? Sorry, I have never watched a NFL game where aDE is chasing QB and the QB freezes and gets sucked up by some gravitational force for a sack.

I have never seen Edge plower over linebackers... In Madden, Michael Vick could run all over anyone when I have seen him shut down by defense.

Madden is all about taking the big names, pumping up their stats,and learning to use BS glitches. Dont act like there is any reality to Madden at all. Playing on All-Pro or All-Madden it always seems to be an offensive shoot out which is hardly the case in the NFL every game.

Oh, knowledge of the game? Last time I checked Tony Romo is pretty hard to sack behind the line of scrimmage, this applies to last year, and this year so far. Yet EA seems to have made him slow as hell and easy to tackle in the backfield.

EA also did seem to not make Plaxico Burress lazy in game where the Giants are losing. Last time I checked if the game is getting out of hand, he seems to quit playing ball.

So obviously you really dont know jack about the NFL bro.
