Madden NFL 2008 vs. 2009 Visual Comparison

They're both the same, the reason the 09' one looks better when you first look is because they're brighter and have different enviornments. What are you gonna choose, a regular daytime picture, or a cool snow picture?

If you put a normal day time picture, with the same exact thing for 09', they'll look the same.

I feel bad for people who spend 60$ on a new Madden every year.

I love the fact that the PS3 version it is going to be 60fps.... But they still have not caught up to Madden 07, as far as detail and Lighting......and judging by MLB 08 for the PS3, its possible to hit 60fps, with great crowds and still have great lighting......but Madden can't do that for some reason... I know they are different sports and all but....my god... this is their 4 MADDEN game on the 360 and it still looks garbage.....

here is MADDEN 07 for comparison......with HDR and running at a modest 30fps

Pretty much, I for one buy Madden every year. Most people play it on all madden. Play a few season b4 you get online.

I'm diggin the "Play your calls vid" looks like it could be very awesome on the Wii. I liked 07 it was two steps forward in Madden but then 08 took two steps backwards.

NFL 2K5, still the best football game EVER (except for Super Tecmo Bowl of course).

Yearly update, hell they don't even have a year to make the game. The graphics already looked good, and if you can't tell the greatly improved details on the players themselves, and their jerseys, and the lighting on their helmets and all over the stadium, then why should you complain.

I can guarantee that probably over 3/4 of the people whining in this thread about Madden have no idea how the game of Football is even played. Let alone should they complain about it being a rehash.

I think Madden, NBA2k, and MLB The Show are the only games worth buying year after year. I bought GTA4 a couple weeks ago, played it for a good 2 days, and now it sits on my floor waiting to be traded in for a preorder on the new Madden. That 10 rating is an absolute joke IMO.

Im not even buying MGS. The last nonsports game that held my attention for more than a few hours was COD4, and only because of the multiplayer.

Usually the hardcore fans buy the game on a yearly basis because EA shuts down the online servers and for the rooster update and stat tweaks. I think spending 60$ for that much minimal update is milkage at its finest by EA. What exactly is your problem I read your other post in this thread and it seems you like to lash out at anyone who dosent like madden :?.

No, just get annoyed at people who come into threads about a game to hate on the game. Madden is a pretty common target on the boards, along with every other sports game. This forum is packed with a bunch of emo JRPG loving nerds who found a forum where it is acceptable to hate on sports and sports games. It's actually pretty pathetic. They despise the fact that Madden outsells nearly every one of their beloved games and take any opportunity to ridicule the people that make that happen.
