Andy was wrong.....hope....is a bad thing.

But we don't have numbers of bundles sold so we can't know for sure. PS4 sold more than Xbox anyway so it's also safe to assume that Madden was sold with a certain percentage of those consoles. Even if they sold way more than what NPD says, it's still likely that PS4 sold more just because there are more PS4's in use than Xbox Ones.

how is this unusual? Theres almost three times as many PS4s sold as Xbox Ones and its a popular multiplat.

Madden started on Playstation and has always been super popular on Playstation.

I guess you are trying to say because of the marketing campaign it was supposed to sell more copies on X1? Madden isnt really a game that would get a sales boost from marketing at this point, the same people buy Madden year after year. If the same number of people buy it every year and theres three times as many on one side, isnt it logical that side would sell more?

Why would Spencer move away from the easiest milking category of gamers that buy whatever shit without thinking? Dudebros are pure milk, companies don't move away from them.

I like the demo on access thus far. What do you find wrong with it?

Soccer is popular across the world because even 3rd world shitholes have the means to play it.

All it requires is an open space and a ball.

Personally, I'd rather saw my balls off with a rusty butterknife than watch that boring shit for 3 hours at a time.

Blocking is still shit....it seems better....but blockers will completely bypass defenders coming straight for me. So if I do a screen....and theres one defender 10 yds away....all 3 of my blockers will completely....just not block him. When it's 3 on 1....1 of my blockers should be able to block him.

I've tried numerous times to get into the MUT....but during changing players around....it stalls and says "The EA servers are unavailable".

QB's that should be able to throw simple passes still overthrow or under throw receivers for some reason randomly....not on the run or anything....when the receivers are wide open. QB's like Drew Brees.

The player switch is still a slight cheese. i.e: when a QB is running from the pocket and right as I'm choosing to go to a player close to him the QB can pass the ball down field...like 40yds (again....on the run) and instead of the player near the QB...it switches to the player near the receiver...and since I'm pressing down on my analog stick....the CB then runs the opposite way....and the receiver is wide open.

The play call menu system still lags....not as much but it still does.

And it's still crap. During a 4th down....it won't go automatically to the option list....it sits there with a blank space saying "Please wait"...which is stupid since D only has a certain amount of time to pick a play after the O has chosen.

The commentating still sounds like robots announce the game.

The HUB menu is laggy.

And lastly....my Saints are only a 78 :(

The only thing really good about this year from last....is the Draft MUT thing. Where you draft 1 player from a choice of 3 for 15 rounds and then play others. It's essentially Arena from Hearthstone.

Not everyone on earth is lucky enough to come from a well off 1st world country. I come from Austria which is well off but try to have some sensitivity towards other people's struggles.

You are right. The fact that it is so popular is that it doesn't require much to get a game going. I guess you gotta start sawing your balls off because if more than 5 billion people in the world find it interesting and entertaining(More people watch the FIFA World cup than the Super Bowl by MILES) then you're the minority.

Soccer (futbol) is great.

Started playing again after stopping during my 7th grade year...and then played in high school.

I can honestly say....out of the sports I've played: Tennis, Basketball, Baseball, Wrestling.....soccer was the most fun.

Watching it can be kinda boring since I don't keep up with overseas club soccer too much...but when the World Cup comes on....I yell and scream at the TV for America and Germany as if it were a American Football game.

@Heil68: Another thing I just ran into that I had forgotten was a problem not having played Madden for at least 6 months...was the problem of having you HB run through the line when the D is blitzing and him getting caught up in all the bodies.

The AI is 1 dimensional.

So just to see.....I took the sack to see if he would get lose at any time. Nope.

It just goes forward....and keeps running in place if something's in the way.

No shit more people watch the World Cup than the Superbowl.

Football is primarily a sport watched by Americans, Canadians, and maybe a few Europeans.

Soccer or "futbol" or whatever the hell you want to call it is a global sport.

But just because it's the most popular doesn't make it the most entertaining. A shitload of those games end in a 0-0 tie. So I essentially just watched a bunch of dudes run and jog up and down a field for almost 3 hours and didn't even witness one fucking goal?

How thrilling.

And the World Cup is an event that comes around once every 4 years like the Olympics. And like the Olympics, it's more about patriotism than soccer. It's people rooting for their country, not their favorite team.

The Superbowl is an annual event.

It's because xbone sucks....there somebody had to say it.
