Made it to level 23 on MW2 and already sick of it.. anyone else tired of it yet?

Ok so I went to the midnight launch and for the first 2 days i played this game non stop almost. I loved it at first and thought it was the most fun ive ever had in a online shooter.. I made it to to level 23, I even unlocked the awesome heartbeat sensor by getting my 15 kills with the silencer, had some fun with that. I woke up 2 mornings ago with just no desire to play this game anymore whatsoever.. Im not trading it in or selling it, hopefully i get the desire to go online and play it again but for now i am sick of this game.

Anyone else already burned out on this game?

no way, the only reason I'm not playing it right now, is because I have to study for a huge test. I just always make my way to SW though.

I think i figured out why im tired of it.. It might have something to do with the annoying people that play online, everytime i play online im in a game with ABUNCH of annoying people and little kids and it gives me a headache (literally) so now everytime i want to play MW2 i associate it with a headache and dont want to play it.. I guess i could just mute everyone but then it would sound like a ghost town.. the MW2 is very very annoying, I wonder if the PS3 version is the same, if the community on PSN was better and less annoying for MW2 i might trade it in for the PS3 version.

For me its the multiplayer maps. I just think they aren't really that good. The original modern warfare they were amazing, but in this one its weird they seem to have no order or real clear concise construction, they are just kind of a mess imo, non stop spawn killing, and everything. Its a shame because the weapon/perks are much more balanced this time around

theres too many ways to mass murder people in this game, literally, i started using noobtube/scavenger/danger close and playing hq, and bodies just pile up. but honestly they don't have enough maps, its such an online centric game they should do what epic usually does and just keep all the maps from other games and just keep adding to them (for ut) but seriously this game is so easily one sided with all the kill streaks now. there is too much, i'm going back to cod4 or waw.

the campain was good, spec ops is sweet, but the multiplayer is ehh.

the multiplayer is more dependent on your perk setup than your skill,especially with perks such as the heartbeat monitor and thermal.

i like the new depth to the challenges, but honestly, i can't stand the multiplayer anymore.

i much prefer css or cod4.

no, 100% complete on the single player, 56% complete on spec ops, need 2 more achievements, have 26% complete on multiplayer lvl 19....still not bored.

yeah, and don't forget care packages that drop chopper-gunner or ac-310. if one of those drop, it's usually over. I hate that randomness.

Yeah there really is no where you can go to bottleneck enemies into, or atleast if you are on a killing streak get a moment to pull yourself together, J cant tell you how many times ive had another enemy in sites and then for me to just get shot right from behind or any other angle.

60 dollars spent on a game you are already bored with. That is fantastic. Your loss for losing interest in it. Thanks for stimulating the economy though :P

a least you can destroy UAV's faily easy. most people still don't know that's possible. but damnit heart-beat sensors are really cheap.

on another note, at least the higher kill streaks give me a goal while playing, i'v got it set to 9/11/25

I got tired of it pretty quickly too. I did really enjoy the Campaign and Spec. Ops though.

No. There's so many challenges and rewards to get it's baffling, and I'm still inclined to see them all.

Yea, it's just a campfest because the maps are atrocious. Then there's heartbeat sensors, so if you try to sneak up on someone, unless you have Ninja, it detects you.

It would've been better if Cold Blooded also hid you from HBS, considering it hides you from everything else. But no, you need to waste another perk just to hide yourself from some kids camping.

I feel the same way. I also think the single player campaign is boring as hell.

Kind of strange how you can lose motivation to play a video game, yet still have the motivation to come to system wars and start a thread about it.

Yeah. But to be fair I mainly got it because I wanted to play with my friends, not because I really wanted it that bad. It's a good game, it's just not the kind I like. For example I've had a few matches where I would run around for three or more minutes before I'd actually find someone to shoot at. They should have called this game hide and go seek.

The campaign is mainly about going from the next scripted sequence to the next. It's all about the cheap thrills. It's pretty sad that Infinity Ward wasn't even able to include campaign co-op. Even Treyarch was able to do it. Tell me it was crafted for a single player experience only all you like but there was rarely ever a point in the game where you were by yourself in a mission. Not sure why it would ruin the experience to replace the worthless friendly NPC with actual players. THe excuse is that much weaker when you consider alot of special ops is just excerpts of campaign missions.

As for the multiplayer it's essentially the same stuff you played in CoD 4 and WaW. The changes they made aren't going to feel big unless you frequently played the last two CoDs. Honestly though I thought Modern Warfare 2's maps were propably the worst in the series.

Wish I had just waited for Assassin's Creed 2 instead or even Left 4 Dead 2.
