Made it to level 23 on MW2 and already sick of it.. anyone else tired of it yet?

Kind of strange how you can lose motivation to play a video game, yet still have the motivation to come to system wars and start a thread about it.

I'm bored already, multiplayer is for campers and idiots who feel good getting a billion kills by releasing a kill streak reward. This game requires little to no skill.

Not at all am at level 21... finished the sp campaign twice and soon starting spec ops missions with friends.. the only problem i have is that i cant play the game as much as i would like to.. (with GT on PSP & Forza3 on 360 i have to dedicate time to those too, along U2 & Fifa2010) :)

I'm at lvl 29 and I think to myself daily why did I buy this game!!! You ethier dominate at this game or you dont, there is no middle ground with MW2. I'm starting to believe who ever has the best connection wins. Ive put half a clip in someone only to have them kill me, and when I look at the kill can it looks like I only shot once or twice.

Not at all tired of it.Id be playing it right now if i were at home.In all honesty probably the best shooter ive ever played.

Battlefield, CoD, KZ2 and all of them are good for waht they are but having played cs for so long the core mechanics of the game just fail in comparison. I'm into the competitive side of fps and these new fps are just way to casual friendly and not that great imho. Then some got vehicles and thats just awful on a whole nother level.

Well i dont share the same opinion as most of you here, but i understand most of the frustration.Its really hard to get a kill streal going as you kill one enemy another one usually has you right in their sights, and for me personally i think gears 2 has the best multiplayer maps in terms of gameplay types. You have open maps for quick battles and closed environments for slower paced game modes and maps that offer both based on the section of the map youre in.The only thing I way would say it has over gears is weapons balance, he who shoots first usually wins.I am not too sure about that host complaint though, and its a bit hard to identify comrades sometime until its too late, some of the army and militia character models share a simliar design.

Ok so I went to the midnight launch and for the first 2 days i played this game non stop almost. I loved it at first and thought it was the most fun ive ever had in a online shooter.. I made it to to level 23, I even unlocked the awesome heartbeat sensor by getting my 15 kills with the silencer, had some fun with that. I woke up 2 mornings ago with just no desire to play this game anymore whatsoever.. Im not trading it in or selling it, hopefully i get the desire to go online and play it again but for now i am sick of this game.

Anyone else already burned out on this game?

People play the game for like 75 days online and still don't get sick of it, it's called an 'addiction'. Even when it stops being 'fun', people will continue to play it.

But to be honest, it's the same game as COD4, and I can't imagine playing more than 5 days online before I give it up.

just played the multi player last nite. and i got to lvl 3. yeah i suck lol. but i thought it was fun. specaily with race wars before and after each game. it was mexico vs britan i think. i just set back and laughed as they cused each other out.

No im lvl 41 it still as fun if not more fun than when i first started plus I play other games to keep It fresh and once I get the BF BC 2 beta i wont okay it as oftenfor a bit.

Im liking the game but i see your point. Thats why i loved Bad Company and CoD4......not so much. I got sick of CoD4 after 2 monthes and still play Bad Company after 1.5 years

People is realisng that the game is about unlocks and perks and not gameplay. Listen to some people conversations about the game and its always about their unlocks and where their at. I was tired of it before I got it lol. WAW I never even played and prolly was the worst game I've bought this gen, mw2 I want put at that level but I prolly want play it very much, which makes me sad for my $60. Heck I got to level 39 I think and since then I've been back on Socom.

If you played this game non stop for 2 day and you're only lvl 23 then you must not be that good. And if i wasn't too good and always getting my *** beat when I jumped online I guess it wouldn't be fun for me either. And if I wasn't having any fun then I'd also have no desire to play. I seen lvl 60s within the first 24 hours. So you either suck or didn't play 'non' stop because my grandma could hit lvl 23 in a week...

I too am in the high twenties and am disappointed at the level of skill or lack thereof of the online play. I loved the campaign seriously it was awesome until you started thinking about the nonsensical plot but at the time it was like WOW. Spec ops too is really good fun. But the multiplayer is spoiled by the underage players and campers. I honestly heard a young boy/girl tell another young boy/girl that they were about to put their dad on the mic to give out to the other. The campers are just another story and incredibley frustrating and it's getting alot worse.

I'll still play the game if i have a hankering for some online gaming but it just seems slightly harder to motivate myself to play it when there are better things to be doing.

ps. I completely agree with the maps having no natural partitions it's all just a little too open and a little too messy. You can never tell which side your team is on and which side your supposed to be heading towards roughly

Yeah. But to be fair I mainly got it because I wanted to play with my friends, not because I really wanted it that bad. It's a good game, it's just not the kind I like. For example I've had a few matches where I would run around for three or more minutes before I'd actually find someone to shoot at. They should have called this game hide and go seek.

The campaign is mainly about going from the next scripted sequence to the next. It's all about the cheap thrills. It's pretty sad that Infinity Ward wasn't even able to include campaign co-op. Even Treyarch was able to do it. Tell me it was crafted for a single player experience only all you like but there was rarely ever a point in the game where you were by yourself in a mission. Not sure why it would ruin the experience to replace the worthless friendly NPC with actual players. THe excuse is that much weaker when you consider alot of special ops is just excerpts of campaign missions.

As for the multiplayer it's essentially the same stuff you played in CoD 4 and WaW. The changes they made aren't going to feel big unless you frequently played the last two CoDs. Honestly though I thought Modern Warfare 2's maps were propably the worst in the series.

Wish I had just waited for Assassin's Creed 2 instead or even Left 4 Dead 2.

I stick to Ground War. More people to shoot at , and less camping. 6 on 6 in some of the big maps , means the other team will just camp the other side waiting to be attacked

I'm playing BLOPS now,although I was 38 or something.But I'm not big on multiplayer.I still play the campaign from time to time.Must've finished it like 8 times now.
