How are these two games even comparable. An RTS and a Beat em up?

I still think it will get an 8.5 here, maybe not though. I mean... No More Heroes got a 7.4 there and a 9.0 here... so, anything is possible.

I don't use such despicable names and find them insulting, especially when they are thrown around with no merit. It's one thing to call someone one of those terms when they are blind fanboys who defend their beloved system when they shouldn't, but something else entirely when someone defends a good game against troll-like comments. That is just spiteful and unjust name calling.

For all those complaining about the length,a little reminder: IGN said the action can get a tad repetitive,which would be a much larger problem if Madworld had any considerable length.The 5-6 hours is a good thing,not a bad thing.789shadow

First off I beat GeoW 2 and it sure as heck wasn't very long. Secondly I don't care for online multiplayer much. Finally no, I don't consider myself part of any faction on SW. You seem to put too much emphasis on online multiplayer imo. It's not that great.

I don't use such despicable names and find them insulting, especially when they are thrown around with no merit. It's one thing to call someone one of those terms when they are blind fanboys who defend their beloved system when they shouldn't, but something else entirely when someone defends a good game against troll-like comments. That is just spiteful and unjust name calling.

Regardless, I didn't put any emphasis on the online multiplayer -- I've merely defended games like Killzone 2 and Call of Duty 4, but I never said this game needed online multiplayer. Not even ****ing once did I say that.

Fair enough, I'm sure if I looked into your post history I'd find something but I wouldn't waste my time with you. I've seen you post more than enough to make an educated assumption on which side you stand. So, replace "sheep" with "Wii Fan" -- there, this is settled. :|

i've played plenty of beat em ups that weren't repetative though, and were a good length as well. I estimate that this game will get scored lower on MC and GR because of this.

Aren't those official magazines? I was more thinking along the line of fanboy magazines separate from the companies.

On a side note, Nintendo Power did say to go play Okami on the PS2 rather than the Wii. ;) :P

If its 5 or 6 hours long, no more than an 8.0 here. Heavenly Sword got destroyed from that standpoint, and I'm sure after the gore and kitch wear off, even a great game that's 5 hours long won't stand the test of time.

8.5 for Gamespot. Nice score. 6 hours is quite decent for a beat em up. There is only so much beat em up I can take before I get bored. Unless it Turtles in Time :P

The game could have been about 9 hours though but if its a quality 5-6 hours with incentive to go back then I'm cool. If its good enough, I'll go back regardless so that good enough for me, plus you can get it for like $40 so that's a plus.

seems like a good game, but most ppls that own a wii are casual gamers, i don,t think the sells will be that great though

this game looks like a lot of fun. I think im going to have to buy re 5 and rent this tho, 5-6 hours i just don't know, hopefully the title has legs. Maybe with a few more reviews ill go ahead and buy this. Buta 9 is a great score.
